30 for 30 shorts - Shawn Bradley......

nice guy.

he was a very good blocker. just never filled out, and never had strength in his lower body. he did move very well for his size.

I think another year in college would have helped his game.

he was in the league for more than a decade. i don't think it would've mattered. just hard to play when you are 7ft 6.

yao really was a one of a kind. yao was great because he had tree trunks and had a great soft hands. and he's BBIQ was through the roof. had he stayed healthy, he would've consistently put up 27/10.

....Jazz would have probably beaten the Bull's both times with Bradley at center! They got absolutely nothing from the center position when they had Stockton and Malone! Bradley was also a good passer, no?

That's how I remember him being....but I was young. And he was never on TV in the pros anyhow. I don't remember watching any of the 76er years. Saw some of him Dallas. Didn't see him live @ BYU, but I've seen some tape. That's actually a good idea. I should go back and watch some of his old BYU games today.

Man, his hook was sweet:

He should've been @ 15 pts/game just based on that. He's clearly put on a good amount weight since his playing days are over. Too bad he couldn't figure out how to then.

Bradley was dedicated enough to be great but he was a solid player until injuries started his downhill fall. Again sometimes a player's career is determined by which team drafts them. I think Bradley would have been great on the Jazz but instead he was stuck in Philly one of the worse run franchises for a long time.

It's called middle age. It happens to most people.

I was tall and skinny in HS and my early 20's. Tried everything to put on weight. Now I need to lose about 25 lbs.

Bradley was just too nice. He didn't have the fire one needs to be a top player. And yes, I know, that's the knock on Vonleh.

I saw Bradley @ Target in St George a couple years back.

We were in the same aisle lookin @ soup or something.

Something to tell the grandkids bout one day.
