Up 5 going into the 4th quarter - outscored 41-15. Embarrassing. Mitchell only got 21 minutes. He’s been the only bright spot for this team this year. Rubio should never play more than Mitchell. Gotta hope that a game like this fuels his fire. He has to save his fouls and stay out of trouble. Messed up his whole game tonight to be in early (and stupid) foul trouble.
 
-20 on rebounds, where are all the geniuses that want to trade Rudy? Our inability to contain Capela was the key to open up the floor for the Rockets 3 point barrage in the 4th.
 
Everyone is going to have an off game - especially a rookie. Mitchell needs to stay focused and come back in the next one with more intensity. It’s too bad that Hood’s solid game was wasted. I’d really like to see more of those two together and less of Rubio tbh. Those two are a big part of the future for the Jazz. Should start building around that however they can.

Also, with both Gobert and Favors our, they need to just put Bradley out there and let him sink or swim like Mitchell has. No reason not to play him a bunch of meaningful minutes and see how he responds. Keep JJ and Jonas at the 4, and let Ekpe and Bradley man all the 5 minutes for the next few games.

Still would love to see a Mitchell/Hood backcourt and see what Rubio can do off the bench. Ricky can be a nice piece, but I think the Jazz should be looking to figure out how to build around Gobert, Mitchell and Hood. Not opposed to keeping Favors too, but they have to figure out how to make it work (in lineups, minutes and roles) before investing heavily in that Roster.
