I wonder if they have the rights to use material of the NBA and if the NBA will tolerate it as a free platform.
Nevertheless impressive to make a db using video analysis. I reckon it's not real image recognition, as they probably just use the play-by-play to prefilter and then just compare with the gameclock on the bottom.
Still cool that they can identify a demand and deliver a solid platform.

I dont think the NBA really cares unless you are uploading a complete game. Just go on Youtube and there are thousands of highlight reels, for single seasons or just single games.
