So 4 games in and Ingles is handily outplaying Hayturd. I do not know how to embed tables, but I will try with the insert code thing. Here is the basic line for each from bball reference:

Code:

So far Ingles is head and shoulders ahead. I know Hayturd has to work himself into game shape, but I think with Tatum playing like he is Hayworthless will get less PT than he might otherwise expect. I suspect he will be relegated to a secondary if not tertiary role this season. And no ring to boot.

...but recent commercials have lead me to think that Haywood is a superhero....

The commercial is actually that he wishes he was an anime character in some modern day dungeons and dragons game... even though he is an nba player he longs for a world filled with wizards and goblins.

You don’t compare gods to mere mortals.

Like Karl Malone was strong but nothing compared to Hercules... who was only half god. Legends have it that Joe is actually 150% god... he is the result of a god threesome... was banished to earth because they were afraid he would become too powerful and would rule over the them for eternity.

I wish there was a way to tangibly measure this... because there is hardly a sporting issue I’d rather place real money on... but, if his play continues on like this, when does the Boston sports world start to turn on Hayward? When do they start wondering aloud whether he’s broken?

Like how many times does he appear in the trade machine for Boston homer AD trades...

How about this... when does Bill Simmons first suggest they trade him... he already had a JK mention in his podcast at one point saying he’d have to go in the AD trade for salary... then did a bunch of JK they’d never do that to him Danny Ainge has more class than that.

Or what are the odds for Marcus Morris punching him in practice or giving some mention about teachers pet stealing his minutes.

Hayward is on a 25 MPG restriction and still not 100%. Don’t take that as me being a hater, just the truth of the situation. He’s still a douche.

That said, he’ll never make another ASG again as he’s the third or fourth option on the team. Doubt they would have signed him if they knew Tatum would blow up like he did. He will absolutely be overpaid for his production.

Superb suggestions! I’m really hoping for all this to get super mental. He doesn’t have until January, IMO, before the temp gets noticeably warm. I’m a 25-year fan of the Patriots and former resident of Boston (and my father in-law lives there), so I have some sense for the fan base.

Ingles shooting 54%. lol. I love that guy.

I also love that Haywood is shooting free throws like Andre Drummond.

They are bat **** crazy... don't even need firsthand experience.

Can't wait for Robyn to see the rumors with all the Celtics fans tweeting about every AD mention and forgetting about old what's his name... would be fantastic for the guy who callously turns his back on his HS sweetheart and the teammates/franchise that helped him become great... to go to his mentor college coach... and then get traded to basketball Siberia (basically what NO will be without AD).

If he wasn't on a minutes restriction Morris would be taking his minutes anyway. The minutes restriction is actually just Brad telling the medical staff that he can't have this guy out there effing things up for more than 25 minutes and them helping out... kind of like how they told IT "nah you don't need surgery... just play through it for the playoffs and rest later... Danny will still back that truck up for you". Then IT found out it wasn't the Brinks truck...it was the Uhaul.

Irony of this is we'd be in the same situation with regards to salary but with Mitchell had he stayed. I'd potentially like Hayward on this team (as long as he ****** *** personality didn't neuter the one the team has now, which is a high probability) but not at his current salary.

**** no. Not even for free.

I mean, video games is a billion dollar industry. Hayward has made really smart business moves since going to Boston. Yeah his career may have tanked because of the injury, but the guy is getting paid way better than he could have in Utah.

Everything has lined up perfectly for Hayward when it comes to money..... Which is why I'm hoping for mental anguish and an inability to enjoy any of it.
