pay AK CJ's option and say bye to Mr. Miles..sounds like a plan.
No matter what we better not have both AK and CJ on the team next year. That would be an epic mistake. I would first want to see them use CJ and/or AK in some kind of trade. Other than that let CJ walk. Maybe sign AK to a 3 year deal for no more than $4 mill per year. That's it. Otherwise drop them both. Our young guns can use the time.
this is the only worthwhile thread on the front page right now.
I'm pretty sure saying anything not derogatory towards Greg is grounds for banishment, just a heads up is all.If found it interesting when he said "I certainly don't consider myself the best basketball mind in our organization. We have other people for that" when talking about the draft.
As simple as this sounds, think of how many teams struggle because meddling owners don't know their place. We should count ourselves lucky that Greg understands the concept of delegation.
It's no fun bitching about AK, Raja, CJ, and the *alma mater. I hope they trade the entire lot for a fresh group of burnouts. I want complaining to be fun again.
*Alma mater--both the modern version and original, as in you pretend a goddess is nourishing you with milk even though you know full well nothing is coming out of the arrangement besides you offering up your trinkets in exchange for a fantasy. As silly as it sounds, the locals still worship the idol and think it's worth it's weight in gold. Yup, that pretty much explains Utah's relationship with Ronnie "Milk Goddess" Price.
Ya, I'm glad we no longer live in an age where you have the pay a church some percentage of your income for the promise of heavenly reward.
Interesting interview with Greg Miller, about 10 minutes. Not too interesting, but he did say some things worth mentioning.
Thank you for this.
And thank you for repeating what fatchipper already pointed out earlier in the thread. How original.
Guess that's what I get for posting at about 1 AM and not thinking straight. Meh.
