What's new

5 year old kills 2 year old sister... with a birthday present.

well, USA gun laws are really really lax if you ask me. But I guess you guys like it that way.

What gun law is going to protect a child from a negligent parent?

Time to post the other side of the equation:

GUN CARRYING MAN ENDS STABBING SPREE AT SALT LAKE GROCERY STORE

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - A citizen with a gun stopped a knife wielding man as he began stabbing people Thursday evening at the downtown Salt Lake City Smith's store.

Police say the suspect purchased a knife inside the store and then turned it into a weapon. Smith's employee Dorothy Espinoza says, "He pulled it out and stood outside the Smiths in the foyer. And just started stabbing people and yelling you killed my people. You killed my people."

Espinoza says, the knife wielding man seriously injured two people. "There is blood all over. One got stabbed in the stomach and got stabbed in the head and held his hands and got stabbed all over the arms."

Then, before the suspect could find another victim - a citizen with a gun stopped the madness. "A guy pulled gun on him and told him to drop his weapon or he would shoot him. So, he dropped his weapon and the people from Smith's grabbed him."

I'm curious about what people he considered "my people."

"

The strict gun law which does not allow anybody to purchase guns for no reason. Numerous countries have them and you do not see reports about kids killing kids or even adults.

Us God believers think God gave us the right to protect ourselves so we fight against government interference in that. We try to learn from history as well:

The reports are another story. U.S. God-denying media have an anti-gun agenda much like you.

Absolutely. He saved lives with that gun.

No, he prevented injuries. That is indeed a good thing. However, neither of the two victims were fatally wounded, and there's no reason to presume the suspect intended to fatally wound anyone. There's no need to exaggerate.

He as well put other people in danger. What if crazy guy with knife would have attacked him? Did he have necessary training to act right in that situation? Did he even knew how to use the gun properly? What if he would have shot innocent people by accident? Who would be to blame?
I again would blame state which allows random dudes to cary the guns in the middle of the day in regular store.

Why would god believer's need a gun for protection? Just pray. This mere life on Earth for god believer's is just introduction to eternal heaven anyway.

I don't know. Someone yelling "You killed my people" and stabbing people in vital organs gave me 2 good reasons to presume intent to kill. But maybe you are right. I probably just worded it that way out of an intense need to exaggerate.

Blame God believers. They're the ones who think "decent" human beings should be able to protect themselves from "indecent" human beings.

How about state stepping up and ensuring that "indecent" human beings won't end up with guns?
