I just can't see the Celtics being okay with trading Rondo. He is their future once the big 3 is gone in a year or two
As far as I'm concerned, we're trading Sap and the GSW pick for Rondo.
You've forgotten how bad he was before the Big 3 arrived. The Celtics are shopping him now because they remember. They want him gone *before* they lose the Big 3, and he's exposed as the poor PG he really is when he's not sharing the floor with three future Hall-of-Famers.I just can't see the Celtics being okay with trading Rondo. Except that this move might very well cost us our own pick this year as well.
I doubt the Cs would go for this, and quite honestly, I don't want to see a move like this before the deadline. I'd rather see a rebuilding move with Al and Howard/CJ. Take our lumps for the rest of this season, and THEN possibly look for a deal like this in the offseason.
if jazz trade millsap and keep jefferson i will stop being a fan. until jazz turn into a team that plays hard, hustles their but off on defense and play like a team. pretty much the opposite of what jefferson is doing
As far as I'm concerned, we're trading Sap and the GSW pick for Rondo. I could explain all that, but do I really need to?
I'd do it.
Give Corbin a chance to get more playing time to the young guys and let them develop.
Why would Boston trade Rondo? Either they are tired of his attitude or they are going to use him to rebuild again. I think Rondo is a talent but his bad attitude is well known around boston. He is on a veteran team with a veteran coach but he could be a complete cancer with the Jazz especially with a rookie coach.
I would rather be patient and build this team through the draft. Once Harris/AJ come off the books the Jazz can throw money at a proven PG in free agency or they may get lucky and discover the next Jeremy Lin.
