Who would you keep

Millsap, DMC, Foye make up a very solid bench. If anything, with Burke and Burks running the back court next year you can have DMC start with Favors and Kanter and still use Gordon as the 6th man. Foye could be your primary guard off the bench with Burke and Burks both able to play the point. Millsap comes off as the primary backup to both Bigs.

That team to me in a few years is possibly contending in the West with OKC and the Clippers (If Paul re-signs)

I voted Demarre, Foye, and Jeremy. Demarre obviously, I think Jeremy would be good for 10-15 a night, and Foye is a great deep threat. My only reserve in picking up Foye is that we over use him (like we are now), but if we utilize him correctly I'd love to have him on the team.

Had to leave Foye out because even as good of a three point shooter he is, he's a liability on defense and he really doesn't do anything else; yet he's starting. (oh, and I admit, I was wrong, he isn't a point guard)

Also left both Al and Millsap off, we can't really afford to keep either one if we are going to keep the core together. No Watson or Tinsley, I'm not sure why they are even still in the NBA. (great guys, maybe we hire them as coaches?)

Finally, I did vote for everyone else including Marvin. Folks forget how good he was at the beginning of the year with MoMo as the point guard. I bet he gets better with a decent playmaker drive and disher on the floor. Watson and Tinsley just can't draw the defense off of him like Mo can, and that probably makes a world of difference.

Is it just group think speaking to this fear of veterans playing undeserved minutes, or is this consensus simply reality? I have a tough time believing it's the former, but how does one reconcile if our concerns and frustrations are objectively accurate with an organization that hasn't fired a coach in... what, 35 years? Chilling, and depressing.

I want to believe in Corbin for a lot of reasons. The loudest one is that I kind of have to.

My only reserve in picking up Foye is that we over use him (like we are now), but if we utilize him correctly I'd love to have him on the team.
This. Foye should be utilized in a similar way to how Jerry Sloan used Kyle Korver (18-24mpg dependant on matchups & level of play) - not as a starting 2-guard getting 25-30 mpg.

I'm saying no to Millsap solely based on what we saw the other night. Do we really want to see Kanter or Favors benched for Smallsap in crunch time for the next few years?

I sure don't. That was brutal and I think the team would implode.

a good coach will use them as matchup
also what coach would use 17 minutes of kanter and millsap straight.
it could have been 12 minutes sap 12 minutes kanter and 10 minutes favor.
but no corbin is a branfarter.
he does not realise he can sub

I voted for Marvin Williams to piss you guys off.
I would've gone a step further and voted for Watson, but when I clicked for Watson, the box got checked and when I hit 'submit', the box turned over.[/I]

yes i put that loophole in there
so no one could vote for watson

I will spank you for that, you have been a bad bad boy.

mods, This is not a threat, just a joke.

which 4 did you vote?

DeMarre Carroll, because I love him, and everything about his game. I think he's just as important as the core four. It should be core five, but that just doesn't sound good.

Randy Foye, but only if he comes off the bench. The Kyle Korver role would be perfect for Randy. And if he happens to be having one of his godlike games, we just extend his minutes.

Paul Millsap, but only emotionally.

Jeremy Evans because I love his character, his dunks, and Gordon Hayward need his bff.

Demarre for sure. I didn't think he was very good last year, but he's really impressed me so far this year. Reminds me a lot of Wes and I hope we don't **** it up again. Extend him for Raja money before he finds an absurd deal elsewhere.

Sure thing, rather untouchable:

Favors-Kanter-Hayward-Burks

Have to keep:

Carroll, Evans, Tinsley

Keep for the right price/maybe:

Millsap

Every one else should leave.

Carroll is the answer for me. True team player who has been improving match by match with good salary. Comparing him with Marvin is just sad, pathetic, unfair for us and him. He is gonna be one of the main weapons on the bench.
