He only played for us, for 10 years.
More like three years considering 70% of the time he either DNP'ed or played like Helen Keller. But yeah, he's a stud in international ball!!!

He should have scored 50 then, right? I am actually leaning more towards 75 points.

These are the final 12 qualifiers. Every team in the Olympics is decent. GB also has that guy menshe bomshe, or something like that, who played for Dallas. There might be some others who played in the NBA, not sure. I didn't see today's game. But none of the teams who made it to the Olympics are chumps.
Can you back that up with statistical evidence ... dork!
AK has always dominated in Olympic ball, then suck for us.

Do you think the reason he plays better for Russia might have to do with how his coach uses him and how his teammates give him the ball when he's in position to score. Something the Jazz weren't too good at. Funny that Golden State was thinking of signing him since Mark Jackson used to feed him alley-oops all the time -- that was when Jerry and Stock weren't too enamored of the alley-oop and there was even a little controversy in the locker room over that, and I believe AK was actually in Jackson's camp.
Hey, FP, where do you get the idea that Klinko is overrated here on Jazzfanz, I would think just the opposite, judging by these dumb replies. And so far as him scoring 35 in the NBA, his career high in the NBA is 31 points. But he never was a big scorer. His career season high is 16 plus / game. As I said in another post, this in part had to do with how the Jazz used him and also because he often was not given the ball when he was in position to score. I remember the period when Deron was freezing him out, when he wasn't shooting well -- but then he'd get mismatches with the point guard underneath the hoop and Deron still wouldn't pass him the ball. But all the Deron lovers on here had no problem that -- shows you how stupid some of the posters on here are. They don't know dog turd about hoop. The way you play the game is to pass to the guy who has the best and easiest shot. That's what team basketball is about.

How many times did AK do this in the NBA? Lebron James only scored 9 pts today. Next you'll claim that AK is better than Lebron. ALL you AK lovers think this really matters. I will give AK kudos for playing well. Now can you admit that AK was an average nba player who underachieved because he was too lazy.

The controversy that year was Jackson thought he should start ahead of Stockton and led a mini-revolt. And yes, AK went confederate and sided with Jackson.Do you think the reason he plays better for Russia might have to do with how his coach uses him and how his teammates give him the ball when he's in position to score. If only the Hall of Fame player and coach would have adjusted their games to accommodate a slightly above average player somehow he would have been dominant?
