Fair point. But Al has it in him. I know deep in my soul that Ty knows this.
Some of his moves are 100% unguardable, like the push shot from the post. It's just kind of hit or miss though, some games its on, some its not. Hopefully this year with his increased training, and increased confidence in his knee, he will be more aggressive taking it to the rim. I liked how later in the year he was dunking more, and not settling for push shots as much.
Agreed. I remember the "weezy" would even piss me off sometimes last season, when hed chuck 3 in a row and all would brick. Definitely agree with the fact that he should try to draw more fouls, and go hard to the rim. The way I see it, Al should take it to the rim and only resort to the push shots if they're a) falling or b) the center defending him is seriously good, meaning he has to result in the "weezy" to avoid the rejection. This, coupled with hopefully an ever-growing pick-and-roll technique will definitely propel him past the 20 point mark next season. However, the big "IF" is his defense. I personally have a considerable amount of hope in him, I just hope he doesn't let me down.
Was it just me or did it seem like after about 20 games someone had a talk with Al and told him to stop laying the ball up like a 6'2" guard and start dunking like a center? Maybe DWill gave him the same deal he gave Harpring?
Excuse #58?Wasn't Big Al's thumb injured during a preseason game, with no chance to heal until the offseason? If that was affecting him, he could be back to 100% whenever the season starts.
