Al Jefferson--transform your mind, your body and your play

Okay, so maybe some Jazz players browse this site occasionally. Maybe not. Some of you have claimed to have had ties with people in the organization. Perhaps you're lying. Either way, Big Al needs to see this video and realize his potential. He wants to take some time off after tonight? Fine, go home, see your family for a few weeks. Maybe a month even. But there's no reason he shouldn't be taking a long look in the mirror, and doing what I suggest come June 1st or so.

So Al, watch this video. Then, book a flight down to Arizona, stay there for all of June and July (nine weeks rather than eight like in this video) and get your **** together. If you care about your job, how you're going to be remembered as a player, your teammates, the gift that God's bestowed upon you, the fans, and your next contract, you'd do this.

Life is about choices Al. Make the right one. Use some of that 15M and get down there and bring a nutritionist and chef with you for two months.

Evan Mathis did and he went from 308.2 pounds and 21.8% body fat to 285.8 pounds and 11.23% body fat. If you are 289 pounds as listed and let's assume 15% body fat, imagine how much of a stud you'd be at about 275 and 9%.

Watch the video and book that freakin' flight Al!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone can get this in front his eyes, you need to do it. Pronto.

P.P.S -- if that sounded harsh Al, I apologize. I simply can't love someone who doesn't love them self. So make me love you.

Uggh, I don't know if y'all remember, but Al spent the entire locked out off-season at P3.

You expect this from Al Jefferson? He'll be too busy eating Popeyes and practicing his post moves on Shirley during the offseason.

I don't give a **** about P3. He needs hardcore **** like this because if P3 did **** for him, it isn't translating to the human eye when I look at his body, or on the court.

I'm sure David Robinson does a clinic somewhere for little kids that want to learn how to play basketball. Maybe Jefferson can go do that.

Or, actually, a little google search helped me find something even better for Big Al. He could be around more kids that are on his same IQ level AND he would get to learn how to play basketball from his MOST FAVORITEST PLAYER EVER!!!

So you won't be happy until he has a 35'' vertical and is sprinting on fast-breaks? Jefferson just isn't athletic and is a clunky person. He looked to be pretty fit this year, but a locked out schedule was probably hard on him. Him staying healthy is a pretty good sign of how he has worked on his body.

You seem to have the same mentality as Al. Embrace mediocrity.

I just don't think Al, no matter how hard he works, will be able to overcome his lack of basketball IQ.

So Mantooth comes on my thread and call me stupid for calling out Al then goes and makes the same thread.

Maybe Al could do some yoga

Like I already said. He lacks fire. Either you are born with it or you are not. He is never going to go all out. The guy will always be a slow lazy player.

Look at what a little hustle will do for you and your team. Take Noah for example. The guy has no idea how to shoot a basketball, but plays with a lot of heart and he plays on one of the best teams in the NBA.
