Finally some information about the deadline has leaked, here are his tweets a few minutes ago.

The Jazz considered a number of deals for Paul Millsap at the trade deadline, according to sources. The Pacers and Clippers were interested.

I can't believe the Jazz discussed Millsap and Burks for Granger and Stephenson. I would have been irate. If the Jazz were presented that deal by the Clippers and didn't take it, they're crazy. I love DMC, and I hope the Jazz resign him this offseason but that's a deal you don't pass on.
 
Someone explain to me why the Jazz didn't do more to complete that Clippers deal?

You add Odom for Millsap and you're basically swapping 7-8 mil. expiring contracts.
Carroll for Bledsoe? Geez. You've got too many wings as it is. My head hurts.
 
I would have told the Pacers to kick rocks, but as much as I like Dmc, I think I'd have done the swap with the Clippers.

Only bright side though to me by the Jazz not doing either trade is this still leaves the door open for Jefferdad to not return after this season is over.

The full details are never disclosed. I have a hard time believing the Jazz would have turned down that deal. It could have been on the table and been turned down by LA. They were VERY reluctant to trade Bledsoe. But they might be willing if/when they re-sign CP3. Maybe we give them our lottery pick + the GS one.

I agree, that's a very good possibility. The insistence on a pick may have been the deal breaker for the Jazz. Again I would have done it but in that case I don't blame them nearly as much if that was the cause for pulling out of the deal.
 
Both deals are outrageous. I can't believe we didn't do one of them and I can't believe the other was even proposed.
 
I think both deals sucked for the Jazz. Granger's knee is bad and his contract sucks. I would have been done with the Jazz if that deal happened. The Clipper deal makes no sense because as much potential as Bledsoe has he still hasn't proven he is a starting PG. He is a good player but still unproven. Besides the fact that he is a free agent next year so he could just walk next year. I wander if this trade is any indication that the Jazz have decided between Millsap/AJ and Carroll and Marvin. Or maybe no one wants Marvin or AJ?

I am glad the Jazz didn't make either of these trades.

Not true he's restricted free agent.

Figured it was as simple as this and looks as though it was. Trading two expiring to audition one of the league bright young prospects for a year and a half is a no brainer for 99 percent of the league. Just ignorant.
 
I bet they didn't do it because the Jazz still believe they are trying out Mo Williams. They didn't want to hurt his feelings.


I also wonder if the trade deadline was so dull because of the Jazz. They had two of the big dominos thay everyone was waiting on, but by the time everyone realized they weren't trading them it was too late to swing another deal.

Look I love that team as much as anyone but I don't want any part of Granger.
 
If it turns out that all we had to give up for Bledsoe was Millsap and DMC and we didn't pull the trigger, I have no words for the stupidity of this FO.
