All-NBA Teams Announced Thursday (5-18-17)

Some people aren't really fans of NBA games, they are fans of draft prospects and front office strategy. HH, with his obsession of the D-league, his concern for how much money the team spends, his concern for drafting non-NBA talent, leads me to an assumption about what category of fan he is.

The hell you talking about... been a Jazz fan since I could watch a damn TV... was in attendance of the game stockton broke the steals record... attended Game 7 versus the Mutombo Nuggets... spent $700 for tickets to Game one of the GSW series this year where my son and I got autographs from half the team.

I don't give one **** about d-league... the fact that i can point out that we haven't used as much money as we could have to make the team better doesn't make me a bad fan... it makes me an educated fan.

So league consensus is that Hayeard is behind George and Butler.

Grats to Rudy! He should be an All Star next year.

Butler is fair is you look at raw numbers... if you consider team success (which may or may not be fair) and the fact that we won more in a tough conference you can absolutely make the case for Hayward.

Don't think we can call it a snub... nba forwards are crazy deep.

I was shocked that Gordon wasn't higher on the list as well. He should have been better than 21 and DeAndre? Lame. Gasol is twice the player DeAndre Jordan is. Defensively he is great. But offensively he is one dimensional. Gasol is a better player.

Based on how low Gordon scored and the players on the list, does that make Gordon think he isn't going to get in the top 15 player's in the next 2 years? I would doubt more than believe it at this moment because it has such an element of popularity contest... and playing in Utah doesn't win popularity contests. If he had 49 points the psychology would probably suggest, NEXT YEAR BABY! But at 21, he is still playing second fiddle to a lot of the top tier guys. Motivation??? Likely. Confidence it will happen in the next couple of years? Probably less than yesterday.

You have already proven yourself wrong by opening your mouth. The Jazz have paid the luxury tax twice, and it was after Larry died.

I am not just talking about dipping your toes into the LT. I am talking about really being aggressive and spending money. We haven't really seen that since Larry has died. Even more than that we have been way conservative with contracts. Which has cost us. We could have been aggressive with Hayward and signed him to the max instead of making him sign the offer with The hornets.

The Jazz have not spent money in years. My opinion is that this trust has spred the money to thin. We consistently waste our cap space.

We haven't had a team worth going into LT for. We haven't attracted the free agents. We haven't had the system. Why spend just to spend...

The guy that voted lebron off of first team should lose his voting.

I can't believe Curry got less first team votes than that marshmallow jelly fish Durant.
Curry >Durant

HH is a solid poster, despite the fact he misjudges smart management for being cheap.;)

Truth be told, I wish this board had more posters who understood all the inner workings of team building/management as well as HH.

I'm glad hayward didn't make it.

Agreed.
HH is one of the best we have.

Congrats to Rudy, 2nd team is a huge accomplishment and really should've been first but still...All NBA 2nd team is a huge accomplishment. With Davis getting 1st team, it really means Rudy is the best true NBA center in the league.

I mean its no surprise to us that he's the best true center in the league, but now there's no debate that can be made by other teams.
Congrats to Rudy again, and surprised Gordon was so low

I'm only assuming they meant HT and not HH. (Admit every time I see HH I automatically think Heaven Harris).
