This way we can argue to our hearts content without hijacking the draft thread

russell did go against wilt (and owned him) and i think wilt is comparible to hakeem, shaq, kareem

Russell is the best defensive player of all time probably. I do think he might have a tough time against shaq though. Russell would straight shut tim duncan down and he would hold his own against hakeem and abdul jabbar.

Shaq is the kind of dude that no one can really match up with tbh. But then again, just foul the crap out of him.... then at least you can hold him to 25- 30 pts instead of 40-50 that he would score each game if he could make his free throws.

edit: I think lebron is in that category (with shaq) of dudes that you really cant match up against because they are physically freaks of nature

Wilt is comparable to Shaq in terms of strength. I think most people don't realize just how strong Wilt was. Too many of his best years were filmed in grainy black and white.

Wilt and Jabbar have all the statistical records.....and both have multiple championships with Jabbar having 6? In either case, they are the top two centers of all time. Russell has the most championships but statistically is way behind both of the other two. No one else is even close.

This guy.

Wow, 7'4" already. He probably won't be able to play basketball much, but he has a legit chance to be the tallest man in the world if he continues to grow at that rate.

As for the thread, if I were building a team, I'd select Hakeem or Kareem over the others. I just don't trust the numbers of Wilt and Russell in that ancient NBA era with only 8-10 teams and tons of 6'8", 6'9" centers.

If this giant spider crab played the game like Enes Kanter, the association would need a lot of balls to replace the dead ones after he grabbed the ball in low post after rebound or highpost to pass someone.

the two guys ending with -eem in no particular order.

The Euro's are the only people on this board who actually know anything about basketball it seems.
