All-Time NBA Draft (not just international)

I typically host this thing every year. I wouldn't mind hosting the one for current players. I've got some fun ideas I could do with it as host.

You do it based on how you think players will fair next year. In other words, you'd be a fool to draft Paul George (sadly).

We should definitely do it with trades this year, like we did with this draft. And I'd be more interested in doing 12 rounds for that one than this one.

I also think we could potentially get 16 GM's for it which would be awesome.

You should host the current players one and I could host the 24 & under players one? If anyone would be interested in that? QSH, you have done a great job with this one, keep up the good work.

61. Robert Parish:
He was known as a versatile center, using his 7' size and speed to contain opposing players, launch precise shots from outside the paint, and finish fast breaks - the latter uncanny for a man of his stature. Fellow Hall of Famer and teammate Bill Walton once called Parish the "greatest shooting big man of all time." His trademark was his high-release jump shot, which traversed a very high arc before falling. He played the most games in NBA history and was part of the original Big 3.

****!!! Great pick Jeffrey, was hoping he would fall to 64. Surprised he fell this far, tbh.

Isn't that just a normal fantasy draft without actually doing the fantasy games?

It'll depend on when we do that draft. If this thing takes forever, then probably not. I've got a few weeks off before fall semester starts, so I can host it if we can speed this thing up.

I think QSH idea of drafting current players and then watching the season play out and voting at the end of next year would be interesting.

Would be kind of like fantasy basketball how you would be cheering on your players as the season goes on

Sounds like a bit much for this sort of thing, IMO.

This draft has taken five and a half days so far so we should wrap up somewhere next weekend.

Nice pick with Parish, loved what he brings to the table at the 5.

I appreciate it is long Summer still before the training camp start, but last year's one was done much faster for some reason... pick after pick after pick... we just kept picking them.

Also because PKM/Zulu were part of it they would be texting guys to get their picks and then posting them here, makes picking players much snappier.

No trades either, so people wouldn't wait to make their pick opposed to choosing through the best offer they received.
