All-Time NBA Draft (not just international)

I feel like there is a lot if value in the 20-30 range.

Oh, I'm not criticizing your strategy at all. In fact, I'm really interested in seeing how it works out for you. I'm taking pretty much the opposite path and basically staying put, then drafting my BPA with every pick. I'm going to trust my value list and just see how it stacks up against others. My main goal is to put together a team that can physically compete with any team that the rest of you can come up with. Won't know how well that works for me until after I see who is still on the board at #23 and #26 tbh.

Hakeem Olajuwon
Best footwork in the low post in the game, great defender, passer. Great midrange game, and makes players around him better, and took Shaq to school in the finals, he won two.
Great pick. Had him #3 after MJ and Magic. Can't go wrong with the "Dream", but I personally felt like could get a quality center later on. Great pick though.

With the 4th pick of 2014 summertime laziness draft jazzyapma selects:

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Career years: 1969-1989
Team(s): Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Lakers
Stats: 1560 G, 24.6 PPG, 11.2 RPG, 3.6 APG, 0.9 SPG, 2.6 BPG

Accolades: Basketball Hall of Famer, 6x NBA Champion, 2x NBA Finals MVP, 6x NBA MVP, 19x NBA All-Star, 10x All-NBA First Team, 5x All-NBA Second Team, 5x NBA All-Defensive First Team, 6x NBA All-Defensive Second Team, 1970 NBA Rookie of the Year, 1970 NBA All-Rookie Team

Forget centers. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is one of the greatest basketball players ever, period. The former Lew Alcindor holds several all-time records that will be hard to top; among them, he is the NBA's career leader in minutes played and points scored, reaching an astonishing 18 All-Star games in his 19 professional seasons. So what happened that one year? Kareem broke his hand in the opening game of the season, and did not return to the court until a week before Christmas. With three future Hall of Famers (Artis Gilmore, Bob Lanier, and Bill Walton) also playing center in the West, there simply was no room for Kareem on the All-Star squad despite his 27.0 PPG average in the 29 games he did play before the break.

There's no better piece to start a team with the best center ever played the game. Sorry The Dream, achievements speak for themselves.

Please reread the accolades section if necessary.

Very few C's are as good offensively and defensively as he is. Don't have time to look it up now, but he holds the record for most blocks in the nba, and on top of that he makes those around him better. He is a step above all other C's

Just traded 32 and 46 to Hotttnickkk for 30 and 54. A minor deal, but I now have 4 straight picks with 27-30.

It's going to be interesting to see your team come together. I think I'm more interesting in your strategy over everyone else in this thing.

I hope I live up to expectations, a lot could be changed with my plan depending on what you do at 23 and 26, tbh.

I'm not sure exactly but I think addictionary lives in Turkey and is 9 hours ahead which means it's 1:30 in the morning there and he's likely sleeping. I could be way wrong though.

Best Player Available. I've got my value list and I'm sticking to it. I'll suffer on the back end, but feel pretty good about getting 3 solid hall of famers with my first 3 picks.

Well.. in the meantime... depending on who addictionary picks .... my #6 pick could be on the block for trading back. Please email me your offers if you're interested..

Thanks :)
