I select Bill Walton. He will be my starting 4. I'm going to bed but basically I'll just say this. He played just a couple seasons where he played the majority of his games and many consider him as good as Kareem, Wilt, Russell. Literally he was that good. Most players are missing something. He wasn't. He could shoot, rebound, pass, play defense, and hustle all like crazy and yet he was very athletic, tough and a fierce competitor. And despite mostly playing center, he was so versatile, he could play the 4.
He was the player of the year three times in college. In his last game in college, the title game which they (UCLA) won, he was 21 of 22 from the field for 44 points. He then came to the NBA and in a tiny career still managed to win an MVP and win a title as well as Finals MVP. He was that sick, that good.
He is ranked 27th on Bill Simmons all-time list in his book.
Eat your heart out JG.
