I find it stupid to have an alt account and it indicates personal insecurities.

I once created an "alt" because I wanted to make a legit post about something I didn't want others to associate to my more public identity. But that's about it.

I think there is fun to alts. We all liked "Only Post Gifs", or creating an over the top identity for a few fun post. The problem I have is when they become over the top solely for the sake of antagonizing the board (or maybe even specifically a poster or group of posters).
