What's new

Am I the only one looking forward to the end of the season?

Seriously...I'm having a hard time enjoying watching this team play. There's just so many mistakes and so many times I see players not hustling...it's driving me nuts. I mean, I understand this a young team that needs to grow yet, but this is ridiculous. Hell, I'm glad it's a shortened season. Lets get to the draft already.

I am enjoying watching the young guys grow. But I am highly intrigued by who we get in the draft

Nope, I am really enjoying this season. Yes it is frustrating at times but I really like our young players and enjoy the big plays. We all knew this would be a rough season and we started better than we thought. Things are coming back to what we thought. We will make some more runs and it will be fun to watch.

What difference does it make? Even if we draft an elite wing, he'll probably get 10 minutes a night, alongside Bell's 30. We need to get rid of the dead weight and hire a proven coach.

No... Even though I have frustrations Football is over and if there is no basketball I'm force to watch baseball. The only save for me is golf on the weekends!

I just watch the games to watch Hayward, Favors, and Kanter.
I've also notcied that CJ does not know how to run a pick n roll....it's pretty funny, he just starts moving before the pick even gets there.

Geez, what a bunch of frig'n defeatists. There's a long way to go this season still, and many chances to turn things around. Other teams (e.g., Portland, Memphis) aren't tearing things up either, so nothing's settled yet. I'm, however, still optimistic that the Jazz can snag a playoff birth. Even if they don't, expectations were pretty low coming in, and I think so far the Jazz have exceeded most objective observers expectations for where they'd be this season. My guess is that if you polled people whose perspectives weren't filtered through intense emotional investments, they'd conclude Corbin's done a pretty good job to this point.

I'm loving this season. I don't expect the playoffs but like the potential of this team going forward. Kanter has been far better than I expected and Favors (while not making as big of a jump as I hoped) seems to be adding offensive moves to his game. I really think by next season our starters should be Kanter and Favors with Millsap as a backup and Jefferson gone.

My expectations were low so I haven't been too frustrated. I am enjoying the young guys. However, I would rather have Burks play instead of Bell.

I have been more frustrated with the play of our veterans. I really don't see AJ, Harris, CJ or Bell as key parts to the future. I am indifferent to Howard. He isn't part of the future and his performance has been mixed. Millsap and Watson are the only two vets I've enjoyed watching.

Expecting perfecetion with this team is pointless. With the schedule the way it us, our young roster, young coach, etc we're going to have ups and downs.
Look at the Lakers this year. A lot of teams sans the Thunder, and Heat look really bad some nights.

With all that said...hell yes I'm excited for next year.

I just want to see the young guys compete every night. I really think we need an influx of talent, so I don't even mind when Coach Ty puts the losers..I mean starters back in tho "finish" the game.

I'm actually really enjoying this season a lot more than the last couple. We have ups and downs, but we are really good when we are good and there is a lot of balance and depth. I wish the tempo was a little faster though. As for the draft, we know if we get Golden State's pick this year it won't be top 7. It would likely in the 8-12 range. I don't think we will be bad enough to get a top ten pick of our own and if we make the playoffs we don't even get to keep our pick. We might get somebody with potential next year, but in that range they probably wouldn't help much for a year or two.

I didn't expect much this year as I predicted 28 wins. I have been so pleasantly surprised that I have enjoyed every single games except for the New York game where we didn't compete. I love this team!

I'm looking forward to it for different reasons...I sort of feel like I'm in the Franchise mode in Madden and have a bunch of young talent on my team and I want to see after a full season how much their overall rating has gone up to and to then crush the draft. Same here. I'm curious how much they'll have improved by season's end, stoked for the draft, and next year.

....I was looking forward to the season NOT starting....but now that it's started, I'm looking forward to the season ending, and it can't come soon enough to suit me!
