Bout freakin time. Bunch of butthurt Americans. Down with policies protecting domestic sugar!
 
The embargo made sense during the cold war, the US no longer has any strategic reason(that I am aware of)to continue this policy.

Clearly that is all this is. Allowing people to tracel from Cuba to America for longer than 6 months is clearly going to destroy the price of domestic sugar.

I like sugar and I am sure lots of people like Cuban cigars.
 
Hold off on the cubans till hey hey quits smoking. A good cigar will be hard to resist

A good cigar has a very pleasant smell, imo. Cigarettes do stink, though.

I was in a chess club that rotated venues, included club members' homes, and one guy was very affluent, and always had expensive stogies on hand for whoever wanted one. I can't remember what kind exactly but everyone there raved about them, and I thought they smelled just like that, a burning turd.

To each his own, man. A good cigar to me smells like leather, nuts, berries, and smoke(of course).
 
I can relate. I am big into grilling and smoking and I LOVE the smell of a barbecue in full smoke mode. But others don't always share my passion for it. My wife, for one, loves the food, but makes me take a shower immediately after cooking as she hates the smokey smell on my clothes and on me.
 
What wood do you prefer to smoke with? I have a bunch of apricot and some apple that I am curing right now.

The only smoke I think I dislike is exhaust. Sadly, that is basically the air we will have to breathe in utah for the next couple of months.

Yes, I think it way over due too. I also think it is stupid that the US gov't doesn't allow Americans to freely travel to where ever they want to travel. I would love to visit Cuba and think it is time to mend fences and start a diplomatic relationship with Cuba. Heck we have made up with China and Russia (sort of) so why not Cuba?
