well, i started a thread asking if anyone was offended by it, and no one said they were.
in fact, i got comments saying they actually liked it.
mods are probably just pulling **** out their ***.
my $1000 thread was locked within minutes. no way someone had already complained about it.
the whole 'we dont take action until someone complains and then there is a discussion and vote' is BS.

A complaint does not necessarily equal an action. But if people complain, we discuss it. I know you'll probably find this impossible to believe, but there have been several complaints about HH (mostly about comments) that were dismissed w/o action.
As far as Cocaine's avatar is concerned, I hadn't even noticed it until HH brought it up. But now it's being discussed amongst the mods.
As a mod, I don't consider it my job to patrol the forums. I usually don't bother with anything that isn't blatantly egregious. If someone else chooses to be offended, and it comes to the mods in the form of a complaint, then I am obliged to get involved.
The fact of the matter is, if nobody is bothered by Cocaine's avatar, I'm inclined to not worry about it.
For the most part, skin is considered worse than innuendo on this board. We get more complaints when the former shows up. Whether or not that is right is another issue entirely. But that's the way it is. As I have mentioned, there is a variance of opinion amongst mods about how much is too much. But if you are asked to remove something, it is because at least 3 mods felt it exceeded the boundaries established for this forum.
May I ask you a couple of questions, Heaven?
1. If, for every one disgruntled person on the board, there are hundreds who don't really take issue with the way the board is moderated, what conclusion would you draw about where the problem was?
2. If the board is so corrupt and oppressive, why not go to another message board? (there are thousands and thousands on the interwebz.)

He just wants attention, just like any 5 year old seeking attention. HH doesn't know when to give up. The funny thing is, he asks for answers gets them, then asks the same questions all over again, and goes nuts when he gets the same answers. Thank god I'm not a mod, and have to deal with HH cry baby antics!

Either you are trolling for reactions from the moderators or you just don't get it. (I suspect the former.) It's pretty clear that no matter what the moderators say you are going to be unsatisfied. I suggest you go elsewhere for your internet forum fix.
On the very slim chance that you may be sincerely looking for answers I will try one last time.
Not quite everything (a moderators can unilaterally lock or move a thread, for example), but for everything involving warnings/infractions that is indeed our policy. And that's what happened in this case with the discussion on your avatar--after we received several complaints from board members about it, three of the moderators voted that you should be asked to remove the avatar.

If you feel it is restrictive, that's because that's how Jason (the site owner) wants it. And it is not yours to grow--it is Jason's. Also, if you really want to stay here, then I strongly suggest you stop insulting the moderators. They have a much better sense for what Jason wants this forum to be than you do.

Again, I strongly encourage you to stop with the insults.
No, you don't have to pay $40 for a custom title. You can pay $40 for a premium membership. One of the benefits to that happens to be a custom title, but it's not the only benefit.
Now that I've answered your questions, I strongly recommend you take it down a notch. Any further posts from you about "board revolution" or "how clueless/unjust the moderators are" or things like that will be considered trolling and will be issued infractions accordingly. Three infractions result in a suspension, four infractions result in a longer suspension, and five result in a permanent ban.

For what it's worth, this is a total misrepresentation of reality. Dutch got repeatedly warned for using the term "Jew" in a very specific way that many American Jews would find offensive. Not for being Jewish himself or for talking about Judiasm in any way, shape, or form.
My intent was to be done with this conversation, mainly because I believe you've had enough fun trolling me. But I'm a sucker for a slick talker like yourself, so I thought I would address two things before I stick a fork in it.
