What's new

And you want 20 mil per year?

If the reports are true.. his camp wants $30m+ a year.

I bet he gets something crazy from somewhere. I'm loving him this year, but I think he's gonna take the payday over the possibility of building something special here. I don't want to overpay for Hill. I don't think the Jazz will. It just makes me sad because I think someone will for sure.

After tonight I dunno if letting him go somewhere else for $30m+ a year is such a bad thing...

I couldn't watch the game, and confused as to the venom he's receiving on jazzfanz? What did I miss or is this because the rumors say he wants a lot of money? By the way, if true, good for him. The jazz will be fine one way or the other.

Combination of both. Rumors are he wants 4-years 132 mil. We are holding him to that standard now.

He missed like every free throw in overtime and air-balled the shot Rudy tipped in to win. Jazz won despite his bad clutch play tonight.

The layup to put us up 1 tho.

And the steal with 20 seconds left.

And both airballs led directly to points for Utah. He airballed that one time that let Hayward get the offensive rebound and get fouled for 2 points and the airball that won the game. Hill had clutch airballs.

Gotta judge the whole body of work not singular acts regardless of how big the situation might be. This team is better with Hill than with out.

Damn... overreact much?

Over all he's helped us win more then not. He's earned a ton of money. It's a business. He's been extremely clutch all year. Lay off. Lol.

Drama queens in here. Do u expect him to be perfect?

He did have 8 assists. We all know what Hill does and has done for this team. One of the major reasons why we were on the fringes to top-4 team in the West. I would love to re-sign him. 4-years 132 mil? No.

This forum man. Hayward and Hill usually have great games, but when they don't, you guys are all over it.

Bunch of god damn vultures.

Not really. Nobody started getting on Hill's case until reports came out that he thinks he can get the max.

Why shouldn't he want a max deal?? He's never had the opportunity he's had now. He was a backup to Parker with the spurs and never had the ball in Indiana as he played third fiddle to George and Ellis. Now he's running the offense as an actual pg, and he's won us more then a few games.

So the jazz are giving him a better opportunity and better role than he has ever had before?

Generally the same feeling here. Love the way Hill plays, and would have no problem with the Jazz giving large sums to keep him, but 30+/year is just too much. That locks us into Hill/Hayward/Gobert (great combo, but not enough without a great supporting cast) and then we watch that cast of Hood/Favors/others leave cause they simply can't afford to go that far into tax territory.

Yep. That's what I'm saying, and just maybe he's better then anyone ever thought. He's never been thought of as more then a backup pg, or a 3&D role player. I think he could be even better next year in this system.

I don't know why we need to jump down his throat for going after the best deal he can get. Any one of u would do the same. If some agent said to u that u could get a max deal, yea, you'd be all over that.
