He also said he will take a hometown discount because SLC is his home and where his kids have grown up, etc. He also revealed something SUBTLY, making a passing reference that Deron DID NOT want to be here any longer, as a reason for the trade.

I think AK has grown up quite a bit the last couple of seasons.

If AK is mature enough to want stability more than money, I think he may be mature enough to understand that he will be a role player.

In that capacity, he could be very good for us. And less minutes may translate into fewer injuries.

AK needs to give the Jazz a discount here. The Jazz paid him WAY more than he was worth, and now he should return the favor. If he did, he'd go back to being a fan favorite, and everyone would be happy.
