What's new

andrei's jailhouse tat... errr.... something

dont get me wrong and all.. its a cool tattoo, but i think he should have saved his money for all the tampons he'll need for next season.

Also, there is ZERO precedent for AK-bashing to overwhelm any constructive discussion about him. for real.

Note that when I asked my question there wasn't a single post speculating about what that might mean for AK's future here on the Jazz.... the team we've assembled to discuss.

What it means for his future here on the Jazz is....he hopes to stay, but it means nothing unless KOC offers him a contract to stay...so, him still hanging around Utah gettin' tats and **** means nothing as far as the Jazz are concerned. It just means he digs his Dwarf Paladin so much and his sweet Proto-Drake that he wanted a permanent reminder of it. That's all this means.... totally non-Jazz related.

Hahaha, this made it on PTI today.

Made it on to Rome also. I'm not normally a Rome fan, but I was listening for a few minutes on my way to work. He started with something like this, "We interrupt our NBA coverage for some disturbing news out of Utah: Andrei Kirilenko's back". Made me laugh. Then he made fun of it for another minute or two after that.

This just confirms the suspicions that World of War Craft has been the leading factor for why AK has done so poorly in basketball.

I remember reading that AK plays between 40-60 hours a week playing WOW. His body sitting in a chair for that long staring at a screen doesnt really build injury prone muscles.

If the Jazz resign him there should be something in his contract about a limit. Just like Karl Malone couldnt shoot a gun while being on a horse.

I was hoping for a dragon holding an AK47. At least it would have made a little bit of sense.

Rome's show is mostly garbage. His interviews are spineless and rife with brown-nosing. His insight is as flavor-of-the-moment as it gets.

HOWEVER, his show is ****ing hilarious. And he's got an awesome toned-down Kenny Powers vernacular. He is great at giving people ****, and when he's not going on way too long on a smack-talk tirade, he acts as a ring-master for all of the idiots calling in or working on his show and then he just makes fun of them. It's awesome.

Pssshhh AK's or any gun for that matter didn't exist when dragons did, that would be TOTALLY unbelievable and STUPID

You've gotta give the tattoo artist credit though, that would be a very hard tattoo to draw. Very stupid though.

I can only listen to Rome in small doses, but I agree with this assessment.

Rome is amusing mostly because of how seriously he takes himself. But really, nobody is better at spending 30 minutes on 15 seconds worth of material.

Maybe the tattoo will toughen him up. I imagine that it hurt a lot so we at least know he does have some tolerance to pain. Maybe it was his response to Greg Miller saying that he was soft and too injured. Andre responded with I am bad a$$ and can deal with pain. Sign me again.
