KSL - Derrick Favors' struggling season, and what comes next

Derrick Favors has struggled all season long, thanks to injuries and big changes in his offensive role. Is it time for the Jazz to make a trade for help?

Depressing article, knowing how ****ing well he played last year before he went down.
 
Hopefully he can really get a good off-season in. It's nice to hear he worked towards slimming down this past year.
 
They need to shut him down until the beginning of April.. let Withey and even Bolomboy get his minutes. The rest of the team is healthy now, so they can stay afloat without Favors for a while.
 
That article saddens me. Favors has always been one of my favorite Jazz players and I thought he would be the core of a future championship contending team here, but unfortunately, injuries have just altered his career trajectory. If he is traded or let go, I'll always root for him.

They already shut him down for a long time and it didn't help.

I'd much rather Trey get his minutes instead.

The Jazz haven't been forthcoming about Favors' offseason, but something is unusual. "We knew that we were going to hit the season and have to manage Derrick and his condition," Jazz general manager Dennis Lindsey told 1280 The Zone last week. "There's nothing that's surgical that needs to be done or anything like that, but there were a couple of things that he needed to take care of in the offseason and it was clear that we needed to manage his way."

What about Wilson Chandler?

Gimme Chandler + I'll keep Favors and roll the dice on him next year. But I'm not letting the year sink because of Favors. Get reinforcements pls.

Wilson Chandler has said he's unhappy with his time in Denver as well, I probably should have mentioned him too. OTOH, he is apparently a flat-earther, so consider that before acquiring him.
