Since Nurkic came back, Joffrey Lauvergne has barely been off the bench for the Nuggets. He got a DNPCD tonight. He's 6'11", with a 19.0 PER, shooting 41.5% from deep and 95%(!) from the line. This guy looks like the next Memo.

Hey Dennis, quit dreaming about all those 10-day contracts you're about to bring in and figure out a way to get some real talent on this team.

I thought he was a beast in summer league. I wouldn't complain, just wish we could get more help than that however.

He would be a perfect next to Gobert or a scoring punch off the bench. Doubt Denver would give him away easily though.

Know nothing about him. But I know that fans and probably front-offices highly value young/inexperienced players that also play well. And the whole division thing. And the whole they were the ****ing dummies that traded us what became the best or second best player in that draft. Whoops.

Don't see it happening in theory. But I like what I'm hearing and want to be convinced.

Skip forward to 1:47. He is hunched over when he shoots. He wouldn't need so much room if he was up straight. Anyway, he seems like a good bet to improve based on that 95% he's hitting from the line this season.

Randy Rigby basically said they passed on him because he is not Jazz Character. Off court issues head asd apparently.

I was fairly impressed by Lauvigne when I watched him in the World Cup. I think Utah is pretty happy with Whitey, though. Utah, when healthy, is also now 3-deep at the 5 since Favors can play there. What the Jazz don't have is a stretch-4. Along with a legit-PG and another wing who can shoot 3's, that's the direction they should go when trading assets.

This is a JAZZ FAN board. Don't be on the fence like that.

Lauvergne could be that. He has a good outside touch and was making 3's during Eurobasket and runs the floor well.
