I love getting stuck in the YouTube vortex -- you know what I'm talking about -- (just search for "top ten" and watch as the next four hours slip by without you even noticing) and I recently got sucked into the NWO section. TONS of weird, whacko, write4u type stuff, but occasionally there are some real head scratchers.

Have any of you read about or seen any of the videos for the alleged Apollo 20 mission? The mission was to recover artifacts from a giant crashed mother ship on the dark side of the moon, including the frozen remains of an alien. (who looks like a Chinese version of Angelina Jolie)

Be more specific, please. And just for clarification n' ****, I just posted the first videos that popped up. There are thousands of them out there on these same topics and they're all dumb as sin in some ways, and intriguing in others. Don't just watch the crap I posted, go get lost in the vortex. It'll blow your mind, yo.

I don't know, man. I'm getting sleepy already. I need more than one perspective on crap like that before I get all excited about it. I'm not knowledgeable enough about what I'm looking at. Not gonna take one internet youtuber's word for it. If that means I fall for the trick then I fall for the trick.

I dig it. I think most of it is rubbish, but I find it entertaining at the very least. I don't expect anyone to change their minds or all of a sudden believe any of that garbage -- especially after just watching youtube videos, so sorry if that's the way it came across.

It is fun though, to go back to videos posted years and years ago and see some of the bold predictions that the crazies made back then. Some of them have actually happened, which is always fun to see, while most of them flop like Dalamon's dates after he drugs them.

Those are pretty awesome, tbh. I remember when I was first married my wife let me in on a little secret: She believed the lunar landing was a hoax. I honestly thought she was just ribbing me for the longest time until she actually started arguing with me about it one night. It was almost grounds for immediate divorce.

After watching some of those videos though... She has some compelling arguments.
 
Here's my favorite conspiracy: What if the US government was involved in massive snooping of US citizens to scale where they knew who you called, when, who you emailed, what did you type, read your email, read your instant messages. And they did it with minimal government oversight. Not only that but imagine if ******** within the NSA used this to snoop on ex-es and girlfriends and other personal cases. Now that'd be insane.
 
I <3 reading conspiracy but this moon **** is where I draw the line. I haven't seen a single video, and I've watched dozens of them, that doesn't bore the hell out of me or come across as the most bizarre made up nonsense possible.

But what the hell, I'll give a few of these a shot.

The Lakers and Celtics both will garner top 3 picks in this year's draft, and the Lakers will find a way to end up with 2 picks in the top 10, if not 3.

So the Lakers will just magically get two top ten picks? What is the NBA gonna do, just say that there are 31 picks in the draft this year?

Just keeping the conspiracy alive. The Lakers will pull off another BS trade like the one that brought them Gasol in the first place. 3 future 2nd round picks and Steve Nash for the #5 and 2 future first rounders unprotected. The Lakers will get the #1 pick, the Celtics likely #2, regardless of their records at the end of the season as long as they make the lottery.

So then the Lakers draft Embiid and Exum. Or Randle or Parker if they are available at 5 even. Then they acquire LBJ. Trade away Gasol for filler, or in keeping with the conspiracy, trade away Gasol for another all-star and/or top picks later.

Good for a 3-4 rings in a row and the reinstatement of the NBA darlings to the elite.

Can you imagine exum playing with embiid though? That would be a thing of beauty.
