What's new

Dyson Daniels averaged 3.8 ppg his rookie year in New Orleans and was widely considered a bust. Now he's averaging 14/6/4 and will probably make the All Defensive team in his 3rd year. Cody needs to take some notes.

Unsolicited conclusions:
  • Keyonte is our version of Tyler Herro. He'll average 20+ ppg while still on his rookie contract. He's much better when he's not trying to initiate the offense.
  • Collier is really a backup, change-of-pace PG. He's not versatile enough to support a more nuanced offense, at least not right now.
  • Flip is going to have a 12+ year NBA career, while questions about his defense may keep him out of starting line-ups.
  • Juzang is going to have a nice, stable NBA career, the same way Georges Niang has.
  • If Brice continues the trajectory he's on improving his body, he'll be fine. He's a floor spacer rather than an initiator.

The Hawks are a team without a star player they can build their offense around. They're kind of stuck unless they can make a big trade. I bet they're pissed they won the draft lottery in last year's draft instead of this year's or next year's.

Kobe Bufkin is out for the season with shoulder surgery. He's done nothing in his first two seasons after getting drafted ahead of Keyonte.
