What's new

Game Thread Apr 23, 2022 02:30PM MT: Jazz vs. Mavericks - Game 4

Added to Calendar: 04-23-22

So he always had his shortcomings but still played some wings and more physical perimeter guys above average. He’s gone from that to a turnstile… like he’s now bad bad. I’m expecting them to announce he needs some surgery or had tendinitis… or else he’s just washed.
I don’t know. He’s been bad this year, but I think it’s mostly people realizing it. He’s been pretty bad the past two years but I think it flew under the radar with multiple other issues on the team. It’s like the blindspot from your optic nerve where your brain just fills in the context. People weren’t paying attention and we just filled in our expectations of him from seeing him be the training camp guy who earned a spot with great D.

With the vanishingly little he is contributing to the team right now this is so beyond the pale for him to be doing.

His strongest “contribution” in this series was cheap-shotting Brunson which is exactly the kind of **** I want no part of.

So, I don’t know… maybe… kinda… **** him? For real.
Ya when you have a good chunk of jazz fans wishing he would have been suspended from the cheap shots or that he would be benched permanently, maybe you shouldn't complain that you only got 33 minutes.

Like he was always rough navigating screens but would generally stay in front of guys… he’d also win a bunch of 50/50 balls… now he’s almost so bad he’s getting targeted, I think it’s a pretty noticeable difference.

I’d like a good three point game for once. We’re only making 9 per game.
Was just gonna mention this. If we ever have a game when we are hydra hot from three then they ****ed

We are all family, we grieve when we lose and rejoice when we win. I for one should be more respectful of those members on here that are super opinionated and sometimes disrespectful. I have been guilty of retaliating. That being said as I believe Mitchell and Gobert have changed from that alley oop and from this win, I will also try my best turn the page with members on here.
That being said, some on here can be so mean and sassy toward others at the end of the day we are all Jazz fanzz and should be kind to one another no matter if we differ in opinion. Being from Toronto Canada, I know how people have misconceptions about the Jazz and our fan base, I correct them and even contribute to changing their view points because of my interactions with you members. We should be more considerate of one another and respectful. It might just be me but I think all this negative Mitchell and Gobert media stuff and surroundings have rubbed off on us resulting in division and beefs amongst members. Tonight was so sweet because it seemed as if that one single play rectified all of that. We bonded as they did and this can act as the rebuilding of our franchise's foundation. I could be wrong but I hope this acts as my olive branch to those of you I have offended. I'm sorry and hope we can all become closer in the midst. We are all a Utah Jazz family and may we all stand together to see our future successes and praying that we all experience very many championships together.

Peace and Nuff Luv Front Toronto Canada the 6ix Go Jazz Go!
That was sincerely touching.

I feel we should unleash more Clarkson. he's the one who seems to figure out Dallas defense. he has been efficient this series.

otoh what Mike is giving us is not enough and we babysit him all year for the playoffs? 6pts 4 assists for 24mins. game 2 he had 0 points 4 fouls. is there some gas left in the tank? might as well try NAW or butler.
