What's new

At this point, what is your OPINION

I well say that reading things that Corbin said in one of Locke's articles gives me hope for him:
Go back to the beginning of last season. The Jazz didn't understand where each other were on the defensive end of the floor and it showed in blowout losses early to the Denver Nuggets and the L.A. Lakers. Impressively, Corbin was able to get his team to improve with limited practice time during the shortened season and the Jazz finished as a tighter defensive team.

"Early in the season, guys were guessing and thinking. You can't play that way," Corbin recalled.

He certainly made some bad decisions, particularly in close games during the fourth quarter. He still has a lot to learn. However, he and his entire coaching staff impressed me during the season when all of coaches were up and talking to players, teaching them things during the games. They were actively involved and I think that the players (especially the younger guys) will benefit from that.

of Corbin?

Try not to be a homer nor a mouth-breathing critic .. just your true gut feel.

He feels too much like Jerry on the rotations and the over playing of the vets, which is what I always hated about Jerry.

Seems like a good enough guy and the players seem to like him, but there is nothing that screams elite about him yet. Still need more time to judge that though, but overall I'm between meh and irritated with him, but don't think he should be fired or anything for at least another couple seasons if things don't improve, and get the arguments that he's done well with the hand he's been dealt.

I'd also like to see a little more fire from him. Scream at the refs if the Jazz are getting screwed, hell, get an ejection once. I'd also like to see his awesome fist pump come back more, though I'm sure he think it's undignified to do as a head coach, but damn it I want to see it anyway.
