Atleast 19 dead in blast at Ariana Grande concert in Manchester

So sad. One victim was 8 years old. I cannot imagine how you get to a place where you think killing kids is a good idea.

Spreading peace, love, joy on an individual basis appears to be the best we can do and hope that if enough of us do that, we will effect change in some hearts. But the concept that we can keep everyone safe is an illusion. Evil people who want to hurt others have always existed and apparently always will. It's so tragic.

Yet posters here want us to take in more refugee terrorists cause Trump said no!

Our current vetting systems have done a good job making sure terrorists don't come in with the refugees we've been allowing. Our terrorist attacks since 9/11 have been people who were already here and are usually American citizens. Blaming refugees for terrorist acts is disingenuous.

sorry they did not it will take 10-15 years for you to realize what has been done!

the first generation is not the problem

they don't integrate, so the second generations feel disenfranchised! and those become home grown jihadis. the worst will come if america keeps importing this horrible culture

freedom of speech under attack in europe, AGAIN!

maybe it isnt free speech because it is an call to action!

but yeah eu police busy with the backlash! so yeah!

she might get a few 100 euros/ponds fine for it!

On topic of refugees... no matter how good is screening process some bad individuals will slip into the country. They may not be terrorists but they can commit other crimes like this for example:

https://globalnews.ca/news/3235690/...ual-assaults-at-west-edmonton-mall-waterpark/
"Soleiman Hajj Soleiman, a Syrian refugee and father of six, has since been charged with six counts of sexual assault and six counts of sexual interference".

It is tough choice for numerous governments - you want to help decent people fleeing the war ravaged country but you need to protect your own citizens as well. How to do it properly? I think it would be better if more Islamic countries would help and accept refugees from Syria for example. Why Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other rich Arab countries are not accepting them in larger numbers? Certainly it would be way easier to integrate them than for most Western countries due to language and cultural differences.

that's why you should only take people who need refuge, woman and children. and elderly men above 50-55 years

send the rest back with a gun and maybe 6 months worth of military training to go fight and take their country! but we cant have that we want the world to be dependent on government and UN and globalism

we can't have people working and fighting for their own future can we!
we want every body to be dependent on the (global)government ***

Exactly!
After 9-11 I could not get a passport.
We screen LEGAL immigrants like a flour sifter.
Airport security.
Utah Data Center.

Keep your own people safe first an foremost this is something all kings had to learn an something the left needs to learn today!

I find it interesting that those who are so eager to support refugee bans in hopes of decreasing the odds of terrorism attacks are those who fight so strongly against any attempt to regulate guns and therefore decrease gun violence rates. Ironically, one has a better chance of being struck by lightning, die in a car accident, or die of gun violence in the United States than by being killed by a refugee. But hey, whatever. Facts don't matter it seems these days.

Thoughts and prayers to the U.K.

thoughts and prayers are kindof useless with due respect if your daughter has been ripped to shreds by a nail bomb. If i was in Europe i'd want to know what my government was doing to find and weed out the extremists.

you dont see the difference between, gang violence which good ol regular families in certain neighborhoods are immune too.

because guns also prevent tyranny. refugees, accelerates tyranny!

So sad. This could have been easily prevented by just not listening to crappy music.

/I'm being completely facetious of course, except that this is obviously very sad.
