Do any of y'all know of any plans for Kanter to play with the Turkish team in any Euro tourney's this summer? Will any of those be televised? And when?

Kanter IS planning to play .. I know no other details but he is intending to get some experience in the off-season. I'll try to get more info.

I feel a blown achilles or something coming. Seriously, I really do. He just has that look to him.

why don't we instead lookout for NBA summer games .. Florida? Las Vegas? ROCKY MOUNTAIN!!? will Jazz play in these games? when will these games be?

We need to play in Las Vegas. Give the Jazz fans a chance to come down, and see the team.
The games are also a lore more entertaining in front of a crowd.

Orlando games are almost unwatchable.

Hi, just joined to answer your question.

There will be a qualification tournament for the Eurobasket 2013 this summer. I think Enes Kanter will be our starting center in this tournament. It begins after Olympic Games, 15th August. Turkiye will be in group F with Italy, Portugal, Czech Republic and Belarus. First two will qualify. We will play 8 games as two matches per opponent. First Turkiye game will be on 18th August against Belarus.

Sorry, double post. I'm just trying to learn the site...

Man I oughta fly to NJ and break a bottle of Capt. over your head for typing that, of course I would've pre-poured a shot and a Capt & Coke for you, I mean it would be a shame to waste it all.

Thanks for the info. Now I'm wondering if he will have time to play in the Orlando Summer league, in the past it is usually early July so he could play both depending on how early Turkey would want him to report. I would like for him to get more time with Jazz players and coaches but at this stage in his young career any playing time is helpful and personally it is more important for him to play for his country I'm sure.

Thanks for welcoming.

I hope Kanter to start as the center for our NT in this tournament but there is a high possibility of Ömer Aşık to start. But either way I think Kanter will get at least 23-25 mins maybe even 30+, because it's not that hard to qualify, there are six groups in the tourney and first two of the each group and the best four third seeds will qualify to the Eurobasket 2013. Even though we draw the possible best team from each seeding group, there is no real opponent other than Italy in our group.

Other than this tourney, like the other friends said, we probably will play a good amount of friendly games, a few of them could be against Olympic participants, there may be even a USA-TUR game if the schedules matches each other.

Your welcome.

Unfortunately there is no any presented schedule of Turkish NT for the summer yet, there will be some kind of team camp and friendly matches before the tourney, early July is possible for the friendly games of olympic games participants so there indeed maybe a conflict of schedules for Kanter. Anyway it should be more clear in a few weeks, I will be seeking for more info...

Btw, how many games the Jazz plays on this summer league? And is there any coaching or training etc during the period?

As i know there is no euro , just olympics this summer which we lost the chance to attend because of our ****ed up performance last summer
so no Kanter this summer, but will be in the subsequent summers

Yeah true, there may be a qualification round but that won't be very high level competition, plus i am not sure if Enes will play
