Kanter is a god. JV is his towel boy and gives him cups of gatorade when needed.LOL. Itold you all you have to do for a never ending thread is tell akmvp that Kanter is the boss and the verbal fight is on.too funny.

lol, to funny, I was cheering for Jazz when neither Kanter nor Jonas was even born...Seems to me that you joined this board in June ...so because of the Kanter not because you are Jazz fan right?

Jonas can't hold Kanter's jock. Enes Kanter will go down in history as one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA. Jonas will fade away, never to really be known, sad really. Golly, doesn't even seem fair to Jonas, really, to be compared to such a man that is Enes Kanter. You agree, akmvp?

lol,lol,lol,when did you join this board? ha ha,when the pre-games started? so u can trash talk? i been a jazz-fan since memo joined the team.i was not fallowing utah last year,because he was injured and i was in thailand(i was at work during the game hours) ,now enes is with the team and im here,,u wont hear any BS from me .you are only here to trash talk about enes,,just like your other lihanian friend Lapas
 
aybars: Even if you were hating on Enes, I would still support you on this board because you contribute in many ways. akmvp has contributed nothing, at all, aside from we got our draft pick wrong ... that's it.
 
I already said I joined this board because it is active - as numerous other Jazz boards I post turned dead during lockout. So since memo you say? So memo got injured and your interest with Jazz disappeared for year? Tell me, before that you were cheering for Detroit Pistons, right?

How do you know I am lithuanian? I doubt many lithuanians would chose AKMVP as their nick after he kicked Lithuania's *** in 2007 Eurobasket.

I did lots of research prior to draft looking who would be the best option for Jazz. You do not need to be lithuanian to read what Draftexpress posts for example. And lol, when did I get mad? I love inteligent debate about basketball minus homerism and personal insults. Jonas is special talent and I was same passionate/excited about AK before he was even drafted by the Jazz and of course when he was drafted I was even more excited that he is going to my favorite team.
And with NBA lockout I am following as many games as I can/have time to follow - not only Lithuania, Turkey, Russia or Spain...Do you know that for example Zaza Pachulia scored 42 pts in recent win vs Latvia?

Lets be clear here - I do not hate Enes Kanter. Show me any posts where I said I hate him? He is Jazzman so I am cheering and supporting him the same way I supported other picks O'Connor picked ( despite me thinking that he screwed many many times ). That does not mean I can't post critical thoughts and observations about Kanter's game or compare him to other draft picks.
 
guys, enough is enough, seriously... can the debate of who is better between EK and JV please end? both have the potential to be all-star caliber players, but right now it's to early to predict. let's see the answer in three years who will be the better player. thanks and good night!

I think blocks and steals are two of the most overrated stats in basketball.

True, but in my opinion steals and blocks can shift momentum almost as much as a crazy slam-dunk. Id rather see a block than a dunk imo.

It remains unknown how well Valanciunas will fit in the NBA. I was high on Hassan Whiteside last year, who physically is very similar to JV and has a similar talent set--although JV does move very well and efficiently. There are other long players who can run, jump and dunk. No doubt JV is aggressive and looks good, but he hasn't performed against an NBA-caliber front-court yet. Plus he's playing PF, rather than C, which isn't what the Jazz need.

He never played PF in his life from what I know - his only position is center, when did you see him playing PF? And he played vs M.and P.Gasol, Ibaka,T.Mozgov and AK47 recently - all are NBA caliber front court players and averaged 12pts, 7.7reb in those 4 games vs them.
