Who says that before a big game? ‘Take care of the details and we’ll be alright” Screw the details, it’s not a driver’s exam it’s a frickin street fight!
He's the architect of a defense that doesn't work in the postseasonHe’s the architecture of the entire defense. Other than in this series, that’s really meant something. You need to check yourself.
Good for him. At least someone has some passion out there.Mitchell throwing a temper tantrum. Come on, you're better than this.
That makes more sense, not how I have seen it used.I was saying 2 way on offense. Sorry if I was misunderstood. He can shoot and pass. Rudy is simply one dimensional

I think Rudy makes the team play a notch or two below their ability on defense and I think that's kind of on purpose.I’m really not sure about your confidence in the personnel. Scratch that... I totally disagree.
Jokic makes it easier on Murray. That makes more sense, not how I have seen it used.
But then again it makes Rudy at least 2 way too. He plays D, paint and perimeter, and is always a positive on offense.
I'd also rather him earn his shots at the rim and the line. He's way too good of a shooter to take your sweet time going over screens and trailing. I know physical basketball has it's drawbacks but it sure has its advantages when playing reserved is getting you ****ing COOKED.I think we trapped Murray like 2 times the whole game at the end. Don’t get me wrong... Murray has been fire... but he’s also way too ****ing comfortable.
What do you mean by that? Team gets comfortable not playing D?I think Rudy makes the team play a notch or two below their ability on defense and I think that's kind of on purpose.
Good pointMakes one wonder if the reason we were so good previous years on defense is because we had Favors to play along side Rudy. Sure makes me wonder after this season without him.
What does it accomplish? You think it brings the team together? Who's he mad at?Good for him. At least someone has some passion out there.
I was thinking the same thing. We gave Harden the whole lane and it worked at times. This philosophy has been bonkers.I just remember Quin rearranging our whole ****ing defense in game one of a series to try and stop a guy from beating us... That was when we actually had a good defense... in this series he still plays drop big.... leaves Murray and Jokic with open shots all night long.
He needs to get some looser pants, some socks, and make some ducking adjustments.
The rest of the team expects him to clean up, yes. I can see the argument for preserving yourself for the other side of the ball (Donovan) or preserving yourself generally (Joe), but Royce is here to do one ****ing thing and he has to fight harder at it.What do you mean by that? Team gets comfortable not playing D?
The amount of times Rudy had to contain Murray and get back to Jokic who hands off to Murray again with no defender around has been astounding. I would have expected Royce to do better.
