Babbitt recorded highest max vertical among all frontcourt prospects

Babbitt has the highest basketball IQ of any forward available in this year's draft.

Throw in the above average athleticism, the 6'9" height, the nearly 7'0" wingspan, and the Paul Pierce skill set and you have a significant upgrade at SF for the Jazz.

A bit off.

Can't wait to look at the 2012 Draft thread 2 years from now and laugh at stuff we said.

This was a great thread to bump the day before the big draft combine. It reminds us that combine measurements don't tell the whole story. Tomorrow all the measurements will start coming out, and some guys are going to start climbing up the mock draft boards based on a jump, or a measurement.

Anyone watching Portland games know what's wrong with Babbit? I've heard bust, but that's probably not right.

He was on fire the last month of the season. He looked athletic, and his 3 ball was going in.

The last month of the season he was shooting 38%, that's when he was playing more minutes. The month before he was shooting upper 40's, but I think that's because he was only playing ~10 mpg.

Babbitt is an athlete but can't put the ball on the floor well enough to ever really utilize his hops. Same thing with Wesley Johnson.
