80-90% % of the trade suggestions on this board make zero sense at all and I have no interest in being part of that. And it seems to me that your desire is simply to prove you are smarter than others who post here and/or you have a real need to keep a thread alive. So be it. The real good news is that DL and his team know more about what makes sense and what is doable then anyone on here and they are making decisions with both short term and long term needs in mind. There are definitely times when letting people walk after a contract expires makes a lot more sense then bringing on more salary. I trust them to figure that out. Go Jazz. And to add to this, the Jazz organization clearly has a good rep around the league. I mean, it's really the whole reason we have Donovan in the first place. If you go back and watch his post-workout interview, someone asked him point blank why he was even there, seeing as he was projected way out of the Jazz's range. The answer came down to the fact that his agent steered him towards the Jazz because of the quality of the organization.
Orlando has the third worst record in the league. I’d imagine they’d hold on to that pick.
