Baton Rouge Police Killing a 37-year-old black man at point blank range

The Liberal media is really playing with fire here. They cant wait to plaster all over the news another black man shot by police. With absolutley no back story to it either. So you just get a knee jerk reaction from everyone. Then it seems like its this huge problem from police and its only black people. Its very irresponsible, and its now getting cops killed. I dont think they realize just how impressionable their rhetoric is. For the amount of police interactions with the public that occur on a daily basis, its really made out to be a bigger deal than it really is. You cant just make that your daily headline news, and you cant always just show the ones with black people. It makes the situation seem much worse than it is. Thousands of people die from all sorts of things every single day. But watching the news you would think that if you are black, dying from being shot by a cop is a strong possibilty. Its such BS. Black people have far worse things to worry about than what a few cops do on seldom occasions, either by accident, justified, or very seldomly an act of over aggressiveness, or racism. This whole thing is just down right crazy. Black men need to worry much more about being killed by another black man, than a white cops.

As the increase of alternate media and its accessibility has increased, its turned our nation into a bunch of idiots. I thought it was a good idea, and that sites like youtube would change the world for the better. But now Im not so sure. Its brainwashing the crap out of people. People are losing their ability to think rationally at an accelerated rate. There is a damn conspiracy for everything now, and they have no bounds for how stupid they can be. I first thought they were entertaining and might have some substance to them, but you cant even recognize any of the originals one anymore. They have morphed and remorphed thousands of times over into the most ridiculous **** you will ever hear. There are actually a large portion of people on youtube who actaully believe that these things in the news are done by actors and arent even real. Its some conspiracy by the new world order.

I used to not think it was all that easy to brainwash people. Now it seems like its actually really easy to do. And as people dig in deeper into the nonsense they believe, and it goes directly against someone else's nonsense, it just drives people even further apart. Makes me think maybe it was better when there were only a few channels, and the news was fed to you in a controlled manner. The news now is directly competing with alternate media, and feels compelled mirror some of its garbage. A lot of people just arent capable or mature enough handle uncensored news. Things are going to get crazier. We got interesting times ahead of us.

Leveling the playing field.

Most have some Eutopian view of this. Tax the Rich!

Give to the poor!

Most wealthy I know are already incredibly philanthropic. Lol at thinking that somehow giving the money to the government so they can hand it out is somehow better or has some multiplier.

Most everyone I know wants to help. But they are very sensitive to inefficiency. Government is nothing but a money pit, i.e.

So take it by force? Again, lol... this planet is a sieve for people with money to burn/move. Want to take it? Come find it. Want to tax me extra? I suddenly have no income. It's not hard, at all.

So it doesn't work.

Wealthy people generally and genuinely care. We are progressing, organically.

Be careful what you wish for.

Lots to think about from this post.

This is the most insightful Hack post I ever remember reading. Nice work and spot on. Repped. Don't read YouTube comments, though. They are pure poison.

Naw there's ways to level the playing field without taxing the rich more (although I do think they should be taxed more-- esp. corporations). But there's definitely a ton of other ways too

Really good post

All this reminds me of that sickening scene in 'Crash' ... with the well off black couple and the white cop sexually molesting her with that body search.

I know it's just a movie, but that scene to me was really hard to watch...

Anyone else saw that scene?

Chilling.

Police do not carry there tasers where there guns go smart ***. An okay if it was not a kill shot than the rest of the shots were reasonable. Not that that is a reasonable concern the fanatics brought up as cops are trained to empty clips when they hear a nother officer yell GUN. These two backed off! They even told him stop AFTER drawing pistols an tried to not shoot him more but the punk kept struggling so they acted.

Watch the other video (not the fake one trollvon MVP put up). You will see.

For the record, both videos are real. The second one was shot by the store owner. And the screen shot posted earlier from that second video was not photoshopped, as you claimed for no reason. Can you post a screenshot from either of the videos showing the deceased reaching for his gun?? And exactly why is that man a punk? I know if I have two guys kneeling on me, I might very well offer muscle resistance. I'm not sure I would just go completely limp like a noodle. I might struggle. You claim case closed, and you claim to have seen a lot in the videos(you can consider the second one, it's not fake), yet for all but the very beginning we really don't see the struggle while the shots are being fired. Case closed you claim, but you saw a shot that never happened, and speak of other aspects that cannot be seen at all in the videos. How exactly are you able to speak with such certainty about things that cannot be seen in either video?

Regarding the shooting at the traffic stop in Minnesota. If we take the female passenger's statement at face value, the driver was reaching for his wallet when the officer killed him. Since the woman stated the driver had told the officer he, the driver, had a weapon, and a license to carry one, it might be safe to assume the officer felt he was reaching for a gun, and not a wallet. So the cop was fearful in the moment. Fearful in the moment. Is the question then: does a police officer have the right, at that point, to take the driver's life? And does it say anything at all that the police then spent 15 minutes consoling the officer, and not one minute attending to a dying man?

Is the lesson here that, regardless of the actual situation(he was reaching for his wallet), if a cop feels "fear in the moment", pumping 5 bullets into someone is justified? In both shootings, I really don't understand why either of the deceased "deserved" to have their lives taken from them. I don't think, in the Baton Rouge shooting, that resisting arrest is actually reason enough to take that person's life. Other then honor, what more precious thing can a man lose other then his life? And I have not seen clear evidence yet that that individual was attempting to draw his weapon on the two cops kneeling on him, as opposed to simply resisting with his muscles to the fact two guys are manhandling him and one is kneeling on his head. I have not seen a photo, a screenshot, showing that individual attempting to draw his weapon. Therefore, I am not at all sure why so many shots were fired. If the lesson is "if you, as a cop, are fearful in the moment, no thought at all is required; you may shoot to kill. If it turns out you actually had nothing to fear, that's OK. If you feel fear, you can kill anyone you want to kill. And thrashing about under the weight of two guys kneeling on you is resisting arrest. And resisting arrest is always a good enough reason to kill anyone", then I really do have a problem with that. Simple resistance(again, I have yet to see the Baton Rouge deceased reaching for or holding a gun) should not be a good enough reason to take somebody's life. And reaching for a wallet in one's back pocket should not be reason enough to lose one's life.

Schindler's List ... Ghandi ... 12 Years a Slave...

These are the movies that have won it.. they are serious movies tackling REAL issues...

They didn't tackle real issues. Crash did, though to me, the movie sucked and was so clichéd.

Welp, I guess the point of the movie or that particular scene might be that a white cop watching the movie might think twice when they pull up black people and how they should interact with them?

I dunno whether that goal is achieved or not though...

BTW in that scene the white cop was played superbly by Matt Dillon.

That's not the point of that scene. At all.

I agree with all of the rest of your post, but I'm curious what your evidence is for the statement above. The evidence I've seen only shows me that the cop who fired the shots did not immediately attend to the dying man. I do not know for certain what happened to the dying man after his girlfriend was pulled from the car.

I dont know if its been posted already, but the guy shot in the car, Philandro Castile, matched the description of a man who robbed a store at gun point a couple days prior. The local news reported that the car plate number matched the plate used during the robbery too. Looking at the screen shots of the robbery, it does look like its him. The whole broken tail light story was a false story supposedly.

If it is him, I think we could easily conclude that he would have been reaching for his gun to make a getaway, knowing that he was about to be busted. There are also many pictures of him throwing gang signs. So this whole narrative of him being a good guy, could be another "gentle giant" BS cover up.

I for one want to know if in fact it was him. I wonder how the media will cover that and let it out. Just an under the radar, oh by the way, then on to the next story?

I know how the black community will handle it. It will be a big so what, we should be able to rob a store and not get executed for it. Or just completely ignore it and act like it wasnt a thing. Basically another Mike Brown so what excuse. When in actuality they need to come clean and stop acting like the thugs in their community are good people. They arent fooling anybody but the retarded white guilt libs with that BS. Its gonna be a long next decade.

Thats if it is indeed him in the robbery. I got a feeling it is, but for now we cant wait and see.

Did you know punishment for robbing a store is not execution?

If he was going for his gun and the officer did act in self defense then he was not executed, he was killed attempting to kill an officer.

Yep, the original narrative surrounding the Minnesota shooting appears to be false:

It should be execution for armed robbery though. If you stick a gun in someones face and rob them, then you deserve to die imo. You just threatened the life of someone, now someone can take yours.

If the clerk who was getting robbed pulled their own gun and shot the robber dead on the spot, nobody would blink an eye. But if its later we should feel bad for them? Ummm, no.

The point is, that if indeed it is him robbing the store, I am going to give the benefit of the doubt to the cop in this situation because the credibility of the thug is now gone, and nobody should feel sorry for him. The community especially shouldnt be marching up and down the streets screaming injustice, and putting cops life in danger.

Who really is the side rushing to judgement? The cop, or the community screaming injustice before they know what happened? The cop maybe, the community most certainly.
