What if the media you consume completely ignores that the world is telling you something? Will you even know?
Fox News has ignored the protests and I read that on Friday they turned off the stock ticker at the bottom of the screen. This is thee #1 problem in America right now. We have a complex and extremely well funded (it’s funded by both fascist billionaires and Russian oligarchs) right wing propaganda apparatus that keeps 35-40 percent of the country in an alternative reality bubble.
We were victims of MSM too. The Democratic Party, of which I’m not a member but had to support cause I don’t collude with real life Nazis, betrayed us all. Led us by the nose while they funneled power to the legacy families. Robbing all of us of a more compassionate future.
Propaganda is strong and can fool the smartest and best intentioned of us. While we are very angry and disappointed in our brothers and sisters on the right, we have to bail them out, again. They don’t learn lessons well or remember history, even recent events. This is all by design.
We will need their help to finish this too. You’re going to have to swallow your pride if we’re gonna get out of this alive. Soon you’ll have no choice.
As cheesy as it is, love and compassion are a powerful force. It’s the one I choose until I can’t.

FYI, my understanding is that Fox News turned the ticker off because trading was closed for the day.
Right wingers are so goddamn stupid they dont even recognize self owns anymore.

At the time, trading was still happening. Fox News didn’t have the ticker on for like 2-3 days. Instead, they focused nonstop on some trans thing. Wonder why?

If we can ever heard all of the cats of the anti-Trump people, we might accomplish the thing we’ve failed to do 2 out of 3 elections and that’s meaningful because Trump will run again and he will have engaged in some serious chicanery to stack the deck for himself. I don’t know why anyone thought this would just be a flash in the pan. We cannot quit. This will not blow over.

By the way, you know it’s a cult when conservatives used to fall back on the Constitution for everything - even (and maybe even especially) when it didn’t make any sense - and nobody is up in arms about this dude basically already declaring for a third term. Absolute madness has gripped this nation.
Conservatives are the masters of moving the goalpost to justify what they want. Same people who cry about cancel culture but will spend weeks on end discussing how we should boycott Disney movies because they made a white character a different race.
And because they don’t like that, I guess it’s rational to plunge us all into chaos and darkness. Very cool. Two thumbs up.

They really really hate when their racist acts are described as being racist. The guy with the giant decal on the back of his truck that says "**** YOUR FEELINGS!" seems to be ridiculously overemotional about being correctly described as a racist.

Looking through the replies, I see the majority offer this as an explanation for the big crowds. Since Trump worshipers cannot face the truth, this is no surprise, but it is comical that they advertise their insecurity so openly….
