I am torn Williams is my first choice that was easy. I am a huge biyombo fan but I am having my doubts about him killing the offense. I like Jimmer and I feel he is a great bench player get our starting point next year. Montiejunas I am still out on. Anyone that is 7' and can score like him is good but he doesn't rebound so I went with Jimmer at least he fill a need and that is shooting.

Kanter is a good choice but muddies the roster a bit bit that is a good problem but still like wlliams more.

Knight is saying all the right things and has a great work ethic but Williams is still better.

If Williams is there he has to be the pick. With the 12 why not swing for the fence with Bismack if he is there. I don't think we get ether of those guys because they well be gone before we pick. But give the options thats who I would take.

Dwill and Bismack. Draft the PG out of UNC next year in the 2nd round.

This. I can't decide between Kanter and Dwill2, or maybe I just choose not to because someone else will be choosing for the Jazz. And I'm happy with either one.
I would love to get Bismack. Don't know if it will happen.
And I really like the idea of getting UNC's Marshall next year - especially because he won't go in the lottery (in fact right now he's projected at the top of the 2nd round).

Bismack Biyombo
Weight: 243 lbs.
Height (w/o shoes): 6'7.75"
Height (w/ shoes): 6'9"
Wing Span: 7'7"
Body Fat: 4.8%
Standing Reach: 9'3"

Thanks - but probably no thanks for Biyombo for me.

How would you play him? Is he going to start with Favors? So who will be C who will be PF?

No surprises here. The combo with jimmer leads the way. Cant imagine any other teams fans would be as excited for this combo.

I agree with you, abstractly, that moving a pick from this draft to next year's is a good idea. The problem is simple: it's so obviously a good idea that you're gonna end up with a 20th pick or thereabouts because nobody is gonna swap equal number picks to get into this draft. I'd rather explore levering up the 12th pick THIS YEAR. To get some talent that we NEED.

Package the 12 with other assets and try to get a piece we need (defense, shooting, whatever) and maybe a pick next season. It does not have to be a straight swap pick for pick. That #12 is an asset that could help us get something solid and proven instead of a project. I would like to see them explore that route at least.

I think Jazz are getting kanter at 3, but even if they don't they probably still need to trade a big man. And the Jazz' bigs all have some good value so trade one for a player not quite as good (80 cents on the dollar) and then have the other team make up the difference with a 2012 draft pick. Getting 2012 draft picks will require trading some valuable, yet superfluous pieces.

I voted for Knight and singelton. Gives us a potential star in Knight while adding the much needed depth at PG/sf

As did I. I like Williams but I don't see how he slips to us. Minny already has Love so why would they take Kanter? If Cleveland doesn't take Irving, they'll go with Williams. So Utah is left to choose between Kanter and Knight. Favors, Jefferson and Millsap are long-termers. I know Paul is undersized but the Jazz love his work ethic and attitude. He won't be traded. And that makes it unlikely the Jazz take Kanter.

Yes, Jazz has Harris. But he's very expensive and already 28. Utah won't be signing him to another contract. Knight can learn from him, play some backup minutes and take over next season. This situation closely parallels what happened with Rickey Green and John Stockton. Green was one year removed from an all-star season and had his second best season with Utah in 83-84, but the Jazz still drafted John because Green was already 29. Hmmm...sounds oddly familiar to what the Jazz are facing right now. If KOC really likes Knight, Jazz will take him.

If we cant get Williams, then Brandon Knight + Singleton would be a great pick. Not too fond on Kanter whatsoever, our hole at C isnt as bad as our SF one. If Williams does fall to us then it changes everything.

Then why not Kanter & Singleton?

But the hole at PG is huge? Brandon Knight won't fill it at least for a couple years. And it's not like PGs are that rare. Guys that are 6' 11" 260 lbs. on the other hand...

Seriously, based on body of work people should be more geeked about Jimmer than Knight. When will they change the flavor of the month?

Yeah Jazzfanz that is who I wanted prior to the lottery, but now I have to go Williams with our first pick and Singleton, Biyombo or Jimmer at 12. Having two small forwards out of this draft does not bother me if AK is not re-signed. Biyombo could be the defensive center we have always wanted, but maybe Al corrects his weaknesses this off season. As for the Jimmer if he does develop his point guard skills, it sure would be nice not to have to worry about losing him to another team. So who did I vote for, I didn't. Could not decide on my number 2 selection this early on.

I'd rather keep Millsap and gamble the 12th pick on Fredette learning how to run an offense, rather than give up Millsap and gamble the 6th or 7th pick on Knight.

Knight might not even last that long anyway, and the 6th or 7th pick I'd wanna roll the dice on Biyombo instead. Especially when in the 2012 draft Kendall Marshall is projected at the top of the second round.

Don't spend a top 10 pick on a PG unless he's going to be a stud. Knight will only be pretty good. 2nd round pick Kendall Marshall might be better.

Dude please stop this pg are not that rare nonsense. I mean jesus that is just stupid. B knight is a great player. Proven. Kanter is not. He is as rare as kosta and robert swift.

I am now convinced you have seen no more than 4 uk games last year. Let me guess all of them in march? Marshall better than knight?????? You my friend are the only person in the world thinking that. Its evident you hate knight for no reason other than you have this delusion that pg dont win championships. OGreat players with a supporting cast win championships. No one thinks knight will be the best player on the team, but he certainly can be 2 nd or 3 rd option.
