Best Giggle you'll have all night!

I like this one:

Man, ****ing Spurs fans are rooting for Utah big-time. If we do miss the playoffs, I hope the Jazz pull a "Memphis Grizzlies" on the Spurs, and eliminate them in the first round.

We could have at least one Lakers fan rooting for the Jazz in the playoffs.

this is hilarious. half of the people on there act like getting to the playoffs is winning another championship. What do they think, that other teams are just going to lay down once they see they have to face the shell of the lakers in the playoffs? At least some of them have some sense and realize that playoffs or no playoffs, they suck as a team.

I know it's almost impossible, but there might be a small glimmer of hope for the Lakers.

Golden State has one "easy" game left: vs Minnesota. The other 4 are vs OKC, @ LAL, vs SAS, & @ POR.

If GS goes 1-4, and the Jazz & Lakers win out (the unlikely part), that will leave Golden State outside, with the Lakers 8th, Utah 7th.

best one

I think I just spent an hour reading that ... was a good laugh to see those spoiled fans getting a good punch in the gut!!! ..funny how they think the refs and other teams are throwing games when we can't even get anything ever reviewed or called in a game ... out of 400 NBA whistol blows I'm sure Lakers would get 375 of them.. It's a money thing ... just look what happens in the final four to the lower seeds

I laughed about this:

I am trying to take some solace in the fact that this miserable season might be close to an end, but then I starting thinking, what is going to change next year?

We are maxed beyond max. We have popped the cap, jumped the cliff and shredded the apron.

Our old and slow players will be still on contract and one year older and slower.

Dantoni is running the tread off Kobe's tires really fast now by playing him 48 minutes every game. We might start to really see a degraded Kobe as soon as next year.

Pau will still be washed up more or less.

Our point guard will be on the wrong side of 40 at some point next season.

Howard may or may not sign and do we care?

We are stuck more or less with the same d-league cast of characters.

There's almost no way we can realistically expect to get rid of Dantoni next year because of salary concerns (having to pay off three coaches).

We don't have any picks for the forseeable future to rebuild upon.

Jim Buss is still running the show and nothing can really change that. I don't even think he can lose enough money to be forced to sell thanks to the Time Warner contract.

What is going to change enough to prevent the Clippers from easily winning the Pacific division again next year?!?

Please, someone tell me something positive that we have to look forward to this off-season when this season has mercifully ended.

Laker fans have it rough.

This was nice of chrisca91:

I don't think we will make the playoffs. Utah wining today at GSW pretty much was the dagger. We will lose at Portland, and I can most definitely see Utah winning out. They have no stars but man they play with passion, and I respect them for that honestly. Wish we had that same passion.

Watching first take on Espn makes me want the jazz to make the playoffs. They're making it seem like the world will end if the Lakers dont make the playoffs.

Combine that with the fact that the Jazz actually beat GSW ON THE ROAD and that has to be a sign, so that is two signs right there, so maybe it will.

Someone in that thread said they would take Al and Paul over Dwight and Pau....and appeared to be serious.

I would take half the centers in the league over Dwight Coward.
The guy will never be anything until he realizes that he's not worth 20 million a year.
