City Creek.
If you want an unusual shopping experience go to Valley Fair Mall. Store after store is filled with **** that I'm stunned there are actual customers for. Paintings with animated waterfalls, leopard print everything, nutcrackers you can hardly fit through your front door, etc. Plus if you get tired walking between the stores you can just hop on the train.
Southtowne is also a pretty good mall.City Creek is pretty much the only choice for actual SLC. It is closed Sundays since it is mormon owned property. It is pretty nice and more high end stores. The only other decent mall in the area is Fashion Place (best part is there is red rock brewery so while others are shopping you can get great full strength beer), the rest of the malls are kinda garbage for various reasons.
