That Stockton video still gives me the shivers. What's also crazy watching it from today's perspective is that you could make an argument that a couple of his drives into the lane would be and-1s today.

When I saw this highlight video, the lay up he made to tie the score felt like a complete coach-frustrator to me. Too little chance to attempt a guaranteed shot at that pressure. But what amazed me was the incredible body control of John Stockton. I mean, how can a 186 centimeter-white guy can stay stable to lay it up under two bulky guy's defensive pressure so smoothly?

John was something else.
