Best shows on TV?

I'm kinda super hero'd out, but I got to say, I'm enjoying The Boys on Amazon Prime. Didn't know Dennis Quaid had a son who acts.
I'm only 2 episodes in. I'm a HUGE fan of the original comic, and this is enough like it to satisfy the fanboi in me, while being different enough to keep me interested.

That being said, I wish they had Terror in it.

I just binge watched Good Omens. It was different and funny with offbeat humor and silliness. I enjoyed it, but it's only 6 episodes.
The book is better. Much better. The show... I wanted to love it. I really did. But it left out some of my favorite parts of the book without replacing them with anything better. I think Neil Gaiman just wanted to make sure that all of Terry Pratchett's bits were in there, and sacrificed his own voice a bit too much.

It does contain a lot of harsh language, if that's a problem for you. And possibly some nudity. And certainly sexual content. And massive violence.

Thanks for the warning, I'll have to make sure my kiddos are asleep for the night before trying it out.

Never read the book so have nothing to compare it to. Probably why I was able to enjoy it easier. I really like the offbeat humor stuff more than the slapstick comedy ala big bang or something of that ilk.

Which service has it? I’m a huge fan of the books, so I’d be interested in the show.

Amazon Prime. There are five seasons of it. I’ve never read the books so I can’t compare it but I really like the show a lot. I tried watching it a couple years ago and stopped after three episodes. It was decent but felt cheesy. In hindsight, it’s probably not cheesy as much as it is popcornish. Just solid, entertaining tv.

My wife and I have been enjoying a show called New Amsterdam. They like to throw in a lot of liberal stuff but other than that it's a good show.

Just watched the first episode of Basketball or nothing on Netflix. I really enjoyed it. I spend a lot of time in that part of Arizona for work (not Chinle but their region.)

I've been watching "The Loudest Voice in The Room"

It's OK, not great - I had to remind myself to watch the last episode; which isn't a good sign. Crowe underwent quite a transformation to become Roger Ailes. Lots of red meat for left leaning folks. Having Seth McFarlane play one of the main characters is kind of like Clint Eastwood playing Joe Biden in a docu-series about the Obama Administration.

Just finished season 4 of Bosch. It was the best season so far imo. I wasn’t very fond of the last episode of it which is considered one of the best episodes the show’s ever had though. Or the way the KTK was offed.

Just found a show on Netflix called Mind Hunters which is a really good take on FBI profilers of serial killers and what makes them tick. It is set in the 70s when this stuff was first really being researched but it is very captivating.

I really enjoyed it, was very interesting.

I watched that and really liked it
