Best stuff on Netflix

Not sure if it's always been on Netflix, but I've recently started on FARGO ....

4 episodes in, so far so good... love Billy Bob Thornton on this. Kinda surprised Martin Freeman is in this since he has to try and put on that weird Minnesota accent, but he has been pretty solid so far.

Cinematography in this is out of this world for a TV series...

Dude. So glad you are watching this. One of the best shows ever. Right up there with breaking bad.

Season two is simply fantastic as well. Tough to say which season is better. Both are so good. And season two is way different than season one but there are allot of tie ins between the two seasons so pay close attention in season one when they talk about things that happened in the past (season two takes place way before season one) especially mollys dad that runs the diner

Why is that surprising? Last time I checked, that is what actors do and they are all putting on an accent.

Well I guess I didn't expect an English man to play that role, is all. It was a pleasant surprise don't get me wrong. I didn't think he would be up to it but he was pretty good in this and held his own right til the end.

Also kinda like how Matthew McCaunahey always play 1 character? Freeman seems to do that as well for me... that 'shy English guy who meant no harm' character in Love Actually, Sherlock, The Office UK, Hot Fuzz, etc, etc. I didn't think he would be flexible enough to do this more sinister role but I thought he did really well in that role right at the end.

I was pleasantly surprise to say the least. Fargo doesn't get a lot of coverage here (unlike GOT, True Detective, etc), so I didn't think it was going to be very good, but boy was I wrong!!

My favourite episode of the 1st season, which is also the episode that won the Emmy's I believe was "Buridan's ***" where there was all that shooting in the snow storm. Really well done. Right up there with the 15 minute 1-take from True Detective Season 1.

I still have lots of questions though which I hope will get answered over the next couple of days from blogs and interviews and such.

This is being not picky but it actually wasn't one take. It just seemed that way.

Well tell me which scene you're referring to and I'll let u know if it's the same scene.

The one you described which is the only one like such in the whole season. When Cohle goes with the Neo-Nazi biker gang into the 'hood and rob some men of darker persuasion. The last 10 minutes or so of that episode.

If you're into Fargo, Broadchurch, The Killing, etc, then definitely check out "Hinterland".

Simply put, it's GRIPPING.

I need some good horror movies. What's on Netflix? There's one from 1920 that's highly regarded and outside of that, the best one/rated one sounds like A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. Anyone see it or have any recommendations?

If you're into Fargo, Broadchurch, The Killing, Hinterland, etc, then definitely check out "Top of the Lake".

It's set in New Zealand so on top of a gripping story line you'll also enjoy some beautiful scenery. It has the same leading actress as the movie "The One I love" I think she also won an Emmy's for this role.

"Spellbinding" would be how I'd describe it.

I've seen Top of the Lake. Just started Hinterland.

I also watched Creep with Mark Duplass earlier. Solid flick.
