This was probably brought up before... but This is my absolute favorite thing about Al Jefferson

For the clicking impaired:

Before signing the $65 million deal, Jefferson's agent told Al that he could get him a max contract (as much as $20-$30 million per season) if Jefferson opted to go for restricted free agency at the end of the year.

The guy's agent told him he could get him 20m/year, and he settled for less in MINNESOTA of all places. This guy's a class act that seems to be very dedicated, and very loyal to an organization that believed in him.

I have. And it seems the Jazz have struggled more against Minnesota than any other team has. Two years ago, Utah lost at home to the T-Wolves as part of that terrible 2-7 stretch to end the season that resulted in the #8 seed. Last season, Utah split the season series with Minnesota.

As for Big Al, he averaged 19-10 against the Jazz last year (in 4 games) and 23-8 the season before (in just 2 games before he got hurt).

I wish the season would start already. I'm excited to see the Williams to Jefferson connection. Al is an automatic 20-10 player in the Jazz system. And it could be something like 25-12 if Okur is out for an extended period of time and Jefferson is getting 38-40 mins/game.

What's so poetic about that YouTube "Block of the Night" is that after Boozer gets pwned on AJ's fake (and Mansap's block cleans up CB's mess), Boozer still ends up with a stat-padding rebound.

AJ blows by Boozer and then lures Booze into the paint; but playing "follow the leader" and camping under the basket are the easy part.
