Big Blue All stars vs The villians

I agree he will struggle a little to get his shot off early in his career but don't think he will turn into a finesse player. I don't think it's in his nature. He seems to be a smart guy and he's very physical. I think he will eventually learn how to get his shots off like a lot of rookies do. He is never going to have great explosiveness but I think he will learn how to use his body to create space for himself. I saw him do this a few times during the games this summer. It will just take him some time to adjust.

All of this. And especially that.

If can't explode over everyone like Amare, you need footwork, some good pump fakes, and a finishing touch with both hands. Also you have to adjust the angles and cuts you make.

Cy (and others): Don't sleep on Terrence Jones .. he's transformed and will shock most. Just watch.

PKM you probably have said this before, what do you think Kanter's best position is - center or PF?

I think he's a center. He is high energy and good enough shot for PF, but he is so good at creating space for himself that I see Center. Calipari is MUCH better at forecasting talent than I (obviously) and he says PF will be Enes' position. Cal is better at projecting .. I'm only talking what I see.

Kanter still has to learn a lot, no doubt about that, but he wont become just an ok player just because he got some blocks on his ***. He has great post up game, footwork, pump fakes and stuff, so he doesnt really need high athleticism like Griffin. It is more important if he learns not to attempt 2 handed hammer slams 10 miles away from the rim.

Nerves in a rookie don't bother me at all. There are (well normally) 82 games to get past nerves. It's only a problem in the nerves snowball into diminishing his confidence. Fortunately for talented players, all it takes is a couple good games for that to reverse itself.

Yeah, thought there would be a few more pg's in this years draft - being so deep. Knight may have been the best pg option for the jazz out of the 4 pics (2 last year, hopefully 2 this year).

This year is incredibly weak for PG's. Next year even worse. Could have done worse than Knight, quite easily.
