Yeah, if you couldn't dunk in NBA Jam. I dont see the appeal of watching dudes in their late 30's/early 40's playing pickup half-court basketball. I think the novelty will quickly wear off for anyone who does choose to watch it.

Ill probably watch a few and see if they are any fun to watch. I think it will be kind of fun to see some of the retired players go at it. If they get really competitive there might be some gnarly injuries, which will not be fun to watch.

What you don't enjoy watching artificially constructed super-teams blowing out every opponent by 20+ every game and sweeping their way to a meaningless ring? For shame.

See 2004-present San Antonio Spurs vs 2010-2014 Miami Heat. The former, a naturally constructed super-team, the latter, artificially constructed super-team.
 
Big3 pulled 4 million viewers not bad. I thought it was fun to watch, the guys took it serious and played very physical. White Chocolate had a pretty significant injury which was kind of a bummer.
 
I tried to watch one game of this crap. Couldn't do it. Sucks. Bad.
