hahah yeah that was the part that made me smile. "boozer's great d" is only something CeeCee can tell us about. then again, i bet this writer spends nights, fantasizing about Boozer's effective, strong D plugging any number of gaping holes he can offer on the hardwood.

Wow. That read like it was written by a 13 year old. Then he tries to validate his statement on Boozer's defense in the comment section by talking about how Boozer couldn't stop Kobe? What?

Also, he completely ignores the fact that in 2012 Dirk will be 62 years old. By 2013 the Mavs will be in rebuilding mode and the Jazz will be in their prime.

The Nuggs are trying to negotiate with Melo during this offseason and if they can't get a new contract done, my guess is he heads for NY or Brooklyn.

Also, that is a very adept take on what he should have said.
 
I loved the part about LeBron leaving Cleveland because it wasn't a good fit. Wow I hope our team doesn't fit very well so we can get the the finals a few times.

This is the kind of nonsense that Peter Vescey writes. It's the approach of "throw a thousand darts at the dart board and hope one of them hits the bulls eye."

I can't speak for Deron, but I would like to think that he believes the Jazz are doing what they can to make the team not only competitive (i.e., make the playoffs) but veritable title contenders. I don't know about you guys, but to me the team has moved past the "we can make the Finals if the playoff matchups are very, very favorable for the Jazz" into the territory of "bring on the best and we can beat them and make the Finals regardless of matchups." Or maybe I'm just optimistic.

Yea I think you are drinking the juice a little. I am happy about getting Jefferson but the Jazz need a lot to happen to get to the Finals. A few things such as AK having an All-star season, Memo returning to his old form, Hayward being ROY, Fess finally getting it and Jefferson returning to his 20/10 year. Then maybe the Jazz can get to the Finals but the likelihood of that happening is pretty slim.
 
Why would any of you even read any of this **** about the bleacherreport? He has a bias against the Jazz and each yeah in the playoffs since 07` he has picked us to lose in the first round.
