Biggest Reach in the Draft? Utah was hot after Caboclo?

The biggest "reach" in the 1st round was apparently Toronto taking Caboclo from Brazil @ #20. He has a 7'7" wingspan and is really raw. There was some word on Twitter that Utah was very interested in him. I can't believe the Jazz would take this kid over Hood @ #23. Maybe we were thinking at the top of the 2nd round as a draft and stash.

Saw this last night too. Toronto might have feared the Jazz would have taken Caboclo, but when Hood was available I think the Jazz would have gone that direction. The Jazz had Hood rated very high on their board.
 
We couldn't have traded 23, 35 (which we sold for a bag of chips anyway), and another 2nd rounder or two to move up to around 20 to get him?

I loved what I saw in the highlights. The Brazilian Kevin Durant.

You can take these guys in the second round regardless of where as it's simply a flyer. Toronto reached on somebody who might not even come over to play for three years.

After further review; the Jazz did not have the assets to pull off trading up for Caboclo. 19 wasnt going to be traded with Gary Harris available, Toronto wasnt going to take 23 and 35 and let us have their pick, no way.

Actually its said PHX would have taken him at 22. I dont think the Jazz had a shot at this guy tbh.

Wingspan is 4" bigger than Giannis... I loved some of the blocks I saw.

Memphis too. I thought for sure we were going Adams at 23 if he made it there after reading that we might have promised him on here. Maybe Hood would've still been the pick, but I was glad to see Adams go at 22 even though I like him enough.
 
Massai is no dummy... I think DL played him though. Seems like Hood is a guy we wanted all the way.
