Bodhi's Phoenix Mojo Game Thread Jazz at Suns

Nah, the players get off before us.....only thing to report there is Earl is in a walking boot and on crutches. Talked to him a little, said he should be ok but seemed super bummed. Also, talked to Enes while we were getting our bags and he's a really nice/shy dude.

Any of the players seem a little less friendly than you might have hoped?

I don't know if it was because of the loss, late flight or what but me and my buddy were both just saying that no one interacted at all when we landed/got bags/got to our cars. Didn't see any hugs or goodbyes of any kind but again that could be due to multiple factors.

I'm just praying dude is right and some wings are indeed moving. I was told by more than one person that they are well aware of the need for the youth movement and want to see it themselves, specifically Burks.

Anybody else know we had lost as soon as Millsap and Jefferson came back in with 6 or so minutes left. I just hung my head and cursed at TY when Favors came out. He was far and away our best big last night. He should have finished that game.

Favors>Jefferson and Millsap on both ends of the floor. He should be playing 30+ every night now.

Oh and WTF was Millsap doing last night on defense? He was not guarding his man and he was not really helping on the ball. It looked like he was mesmerised by Nash's ball skills and could not find someone to defend. Especially his own man who is one of the best shooters on that team.

The wings minus Hayward were an over all negative (shocking I know) CJ was more aggressive but at best had a neutral affect on the game. Howard did a few good things but overall seemed to have more negative things and didn't seem to pass several times and forced bad shots which ended about as bad as a TO. Bell was Bell, he hit a 3 and got 2 fast break layups but gave up two fast break layups and to make it worse first one was an and one and the second (he checked in and immediatly got the ball stolen) I still don't understand but some how PHX got 2 FT's and the ball back.

Obviously Dudley (thanks Raja) and Frye killed the Jazz, not the first time and not a complete shocker as we've all seen guards light up the Jazz and the few good outside shooting PF's they've faced have also lit them up.

I did enjoy Favors and Kanter's play they both looked aggressive, was nice to see Kanter finally break out of his mini slump.

this game was a ****ing joke. watching this team has ceased being fun. They better shake things up by lunchtime.

After reading back through some posts, and as honorary captain of the prestigious Spelling Police, I'd like to apologize for typing like a giddy school girl. Carry on.

You must have been blind to my Dave Rose thread. Wow, that thing was baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadddddddddddddddddddddd!

8 points, 5 rebounds, 0 TOs, 0 PFs, in 11 ****ing minutes.

Something has to give, this **** is getting absolutely ridiculous.

But Kanter has to earn his minutes!

Did he hold Phoenix to zero points during his 11 minutes? No.
Did he grab every rebound during his 11 minutes? No.
Did he lay an elbow into Nash's face? No.
Did he wash Ty's feet before checking in at the scorer's table? No.
Did he clean the toilets in the locker room? No.
Did he pay his tithing? No.

So why should he get any more playing time?

Lol I'm glad you brought this up because I paused the DVR just to see what was going on.
See Al is so bad at pick n roll defense and Nash is so good at PnR that Milsap had to make the rotation from Frye to Gortat. They literally had to double the guy setting the pick.

I'm not sure if Corbin designed this or Milsap just wanted the win that badly....but yea, Milsap knew what he was doing.
